Dear Mr. Steele,
It is with regret that I must decline to offer any financial support to the RNC at this time. Although I still consider myself a Republican I cannot support what I believe to be misguided leadership and a total disconnect with the core constituency. Most career Republicans would rather support the monster that is the Republican machine than serve their citizenry with honor, sacrifice and duty. Virtues this great constitutional republic so desperately need.
America is truly at a crossroad as you have pointed out however, I believe that my targeted financial support of conservative, servant-minded candidates can far better bring about a new real hope for this country than by blindly supporting a Republican machine that continues to disappoint.
Thank you,

I told them basically the same thing when they called the house. We’ll give to the conservative of our choice followed by a ‘don’t call us, we’ll call you.’
Hope they gave you one of their postpaid envelopes. If so, you put it to good use but the probability of anyone there reading and taking heed of what you say is small.
I had to choose between donating to the RNC and donating to Doug Hoffman.
Excellent reply, very close to the kind I send back. I pick who I want to support. I don’t ever leave that up to the RNC.
I started tossing them when they sent me solicitations in envelopes that used the same font as the IRS.
I got two in one day! one got a picture of Reagan the other got little pieces of shredded survey.
Creative.......I like it!
I habe a feeling that those “surveys” and othor corrospondence is separated from the check and thrown out. Boy I have become cynical.
I have been sending back RNC surveys with similar messages for years. Every one that I get. No response directly or indirectly yet.
A check?
I had literally just finished watching the movie Spartacus before going out to get the mail. Futility was not even an issue.
One of my friends wrote “No RINO’s” on every page of the survey and mailed it back to them.
Cheers
I put a post it note inside with the simple message that I would be sending my support directly to conservative candidates and that the republican party wouldn’t reliably get my cash or my vote until it became reliably conservative. I am the face of the mainstream Republican party, not Deedee Scuzzyfuzzy or whatever her name is.
When they start following the pro-life plank in their platform they’ve
ignored for decades, they might find some followers.
heh Just for the record; I wasn't raising it as an issue.
Question: Who is John Galt?
Answer: I am Spartacus!
You got that right!
:)
Cheers
