a radical socialist with Islamic roots posing as a Christian, groomed for years by Marxist revolutionaries, who hides essential documents of his birth, education and career, who campaigned with illegal funding from overseas interests, who as far as 300 million Americans can honestly tell, was born in a foreign country and (under the plain language of the Supreme Law of the United States, the Constitution) cannot legally be our President, who lacks even the executive experience of a night manager at a self-serve gas station Now that sums it up.

On the one side we have PDS, now those who are fighting that are starting to show signs of RDS.
So much for just arguing the merits. We can't be against Romney for his politics--has to be, if he becomes the nominee, the mountains will crumble and the waters will turn to blood.
Which I thought was already the case with the boob in the White House we have now.

Almost no one in politics or the media will admit it in public, but the GOP lost the Presidency in 2008 by alienating the moral conservative base that the elites loathe. BINGO!

What a bizarre article! No decent human being can stomach it. Mitt Romney and his wonderful family do not deserve to be harassed in this manner.
Romney needs to start a truth squad of his own to defend himself and his family against this filth and trash.

Still keeping an open mind on Romney. Without going along with some liberal policies, he’d never have been elected anything in Mass. All Romney haters and their articles can’t change that fact, and they can’t change the fact the Clinton and Gore were pro-life and pro-second amendment when running for office in Arkansas and Tennessee.
That’s common. Think I’ll just listen to Romney when it matters and decide whether he’d govern as a conservative, or not.

The GOP alienated, or tried to alienate, just about everyone in 2008. It’s hard to think of a way the GOP could have screwed up more.

Alright, I am going to be honest here. Shallow but honest. The biggest problem I have with him is his name. “Mitt” sounds like some snooty stuck up rich frat kid, like Chatsworth Osbourne III or something.
Next is his looks. He just comes across as a guy who shaves his body hair everywhere except his head. Too neat. Too well dressed. I just get weird vibes off him.
Now maybe if he changed his name to Mike or Bob or something, and spilt some ketchup on his self.

This article is full of BS. I like Romney and Palin. Palin more, but I was hoping against hope that Romney would beat Juan McCain last year.
He’s ran a state, a business, and the Olympics. I trust him to re-think his approach with RomneyCare because he is, at his core, a competent executive. I would think that he could evaluate the results there and see that it’s failing and not suitable for national duplication. As for what he said when he was running against Teddy Kennedy, I don’t give a damn. I’d support anyone saying anything for the Swimmer’s political career to have ended prematurely.
The RDS Freepers better get over it and start thinking rationally. Romney or Palin will lead the country back from Obamageddon.

No that is not the way it was. McCain was shown by polls to be the strongest candidate we had. You have to appeal to a majority that means your base and moderates as well. Anybody who says anythng else is smoking crack. Very few conservatives stayed home or voted third party. If you will remember that is what everyone here said when the nomination was up for grabs. When it was McCain most people here jumped on "big Mac’s” bandwagon. we are in a mess and delusion and self deception will only make it worse.

It is just too early to comment on 2012 election.
The GOP ranks has thinned down to some foolish lapses like Sanford, Ensign etc and rather strange decisions like Palin quitting from her Gov job, this has allowed Romney to take the lead.
The 2012 election will be about the economy and the Republican who can the best argument will win the election.

Willard Brutus Romney cowardly attacked Gov. Palin and her children.
Mitt should be ostracized.
Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers, some of whom are currently working for Sen. John McCain and Gov. Sarah Palin's bid for the White House,
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide, now working for McCain-Palin.
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
He's in charge on November 5th.'"
The Prowler added: "Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."
The Romney supporters in the McCain campaign had access to internal polling which indicated well in advance of the November 4 election that McCain had no chance to win.
So they began working to position their man Mitt for a run in 2012. Just two days after the election,The Palmetto Scoop reported:
"One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"Im told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palins people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romneys former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
These aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.
Erick Erickson, who organized Operation Leper, said:
"Heres what I think: I think there are some staffers on the McCain campaign who seriously screwed up the roll out of Sarah Palin, to which Governor Palin herself objected.
These staffers are now out trying to finish her off thinking, as typical D.C. types do, that if they dont do it to her, shell do it to them. They just never understood who Palin is or what she is about."
"Likewise, I do think there are some staffers and others who expect Mitt Romney to run again in 2012,
they decided McCain could not win, and decided to undermine Sarah Palin and her chances hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."
"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign? (Mark Wallace, Romney pimp)
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the Diva leak was Nicolle Wallaces husband."

Romney can't win.
Sarah Palin can win. The left knows it, that's why they are after her.
Now it's a question of how much help the dems will receive from Romney's people to destroy her candidacy- And how much more of a disaster another 4 years of Obama will be.
Romney had his chance, he lost.
If the GOP has any concern for our nation, (or whatever is left of it in '12)- they better unite and back someone who can actually win the race.

I live in Massachusetts but I have no clue who the power elite behind the Mass Republican party are. Does anyone here know who they are? Is there a conflict within the party in the state?
