Almost no one in politics or the media will admit it in public, but the GOP lost the Presidency in 2008 by alienating the moral conservative base that the elites loathe. Many stayed home or voted third party, rejecting a nominee who was in fundamental aspects a liberal Democrat.
That is why Barry Sotero a radical socialist with Islamic roots posing as a Christian, groomed for years by Marxist revolutionaries, who hides essential documents of his birth, education and career, who campaigned with illegal funding from overseas interests, who as far as 300 million Americans can honestly tell, was born in a foreign country and (under the plain language of the Supreme Law of the United States, the Constitution) cannot legally be our President, who lacks even the executive experience of a night manager at a self-serve gas station nevertheless sleeps in the White House. Thats why. Do the homework. Look at the demographics.

I see your opinion and raise one fact:
Mitt still supports his Romneycare even as we speak.

She’s too busy sticking pins in her “I hate Nicole Parra” voodoo dolls. Of course, Nicole Parra helped successfully elect more Republicans to office than Slick Willard ever did. That just burns her butt. ;-)

They need to be educated as to the liberty and prosperity that awaits them when government is limited and individual and private enterprise is cut loose.Wrong again. This is the kind of thing that sounds so good on web chat sites, and is completely lacking in any understanding of what wins elections. As usual with the GOP
Hum...
I guess that explains why Reagan lost in '80 and '84...

Funny, but that “political expert” bit always seems to be a Romneybot trait as well...

I guess that explains why Reagan lost in '80 and '84...You seem to have misinterpreted support for those beliefs (which is essential) with what actually wins elections.
Reagan didn't win because of his support for those beliefs. If that were the case, Republicans would have the winning formula and never lose the White House.

Yes. Of course, it’s so hard to tell them apart, they all read from the same script and spew pea soup in equal portions. They’ve been extra bitter since their comrade Scarchin flamed out. Heartbreaking. :-)

Isn't that always the case ? The Slick Willardbots always want to head the wrong way.

Well so many of them have become part of the modern “we know how to win and you old losers don’t yet we don’t win” GOP that it figures they are confused.

No that is not the way it was. McCain was shown by polls to be the strongest candidate we had. You have to appeal to a majority that means your base and moderates as well. Anybody who says anythng else is smoking crack. Very few conservatives stayed home or voted third party. If you will remember that is what everyone here said when the nomination was up for grabs. When it was McCain most people here jumped on "big Mac’s” bandwagon. we are in a mess and delusion and self deception will only make it worse.

No, Obama is in the WH because the GOP sold its soul to becoming more liberal. If it wasn't for Palin, McCain would have lost in a laughable landslide.
The reason Obama seemingly united liberals under one tent is an illusion. The only thing that united them was being anti-Republican. Remember anybody but Bush?
I don't care if the GOP is divided. The republican party left me years ago. And I'm sick and tired of these fear tactics to get principled conservatives to vote for RINOs.
I loathe Obama as much as anyone. But its straying away from the conservative principles of the GOP that has caused nothing but grief since Reagan. And voting for a sham of a candidate like Romney will make it worse, not better. You do not advance conservatism by becoming more liberal!
As I said before the election, if Obama wins, Republicans (particularly RINOs) have only themselves to blame.
You stand with the party. I stand with my principles.

And they’re so sure of everything. How could they possibly be wrong when they’re grounded so securely and firmly in quicksand ? Such one-dimensional thinking... well, to call it “thinking” would be to pay it a compliment. It’s just a herd mentality of the left. If Slick told them to jump off a cliff, they’d gleefully follow and deride the rest of us for being so mean for not jumping with them because, y’know, he’s just so wickedly awesome with that great hair and all, and that wonderful military-service-avoiding family, the shiny teeth, and those magnificent magical underpants. How can you not worship the guy ? He’s so dreamy. You just get a thrill up both legs when he speaks. I mean, who needs Jesus when you have the Slick One ? He’s gonna save us, just like he saved the Olympics from Mothra, Tiger Woods, Godzilla, Wolfman Jack, Pee-Wee Herman, Ming the Merciless, the Great Pumpkin & Nicole Parra, Saundra Duffy’s twin sister. Did I mention how wonderful he is ? Butter doesn’t melt in his mouth, and neither does chocolate. Even his urine is magnificent, it’s pure, 100% ambrosia. We all must partake of it, for the secrets of the universe are contained within it and y’know what else...
...Sorry, I’ve just got to stop. To even try to get inside these moonbats heads is REALLY scary. They really do think this way.
