Almost no one in politics or the media will admit it in public, but the GOP lost the Presidency in 2008 by alienating the moral conservative base that the elites loathe. Many stayed home or voted third party, rejecting a nominee who was in fundamental aspects a liberal Democrat.
That is why Barry Sotero a radical socialist with Islamic roots posing as a Christian, groomed for years by Marxist revolutionaries, who hides essential documents of his birth, education and career, who campaigned with illegal funding from overseas interests, who as far as 300 million Americans can honestly tell, was born in a foreign country and (under the plain language of the Supreme Law of the United States, the Constitution) cannot legally be our President, who lacks even the executive experience of a night manager at a self-serve gas station nevertheless sleeps in the White House. Thats why. Do the homework. Look at the demographics.

Of course I have a clue as to what you believe, just as you have a clue as to what I believe -- what the hell do you think we're doing here? What's the purpose of the words we write? But indulge me, clue me in -- I gave you two examples of how I correctly read the electorate when conventional wisdom in politics was reading it wrong. Why don't you give me some examples of your own?
Instead, you opt to make it personal, and your tone is condescending and insulting -- the earmarks, by the way, of almost all Romney supporters. You're an intellectual weakling.
Geez, what a bitch.
It's not very interesting watching a person metaphorically crawl up his own posterior, but who has time to keep score of such things? I remember the names of folks who post interesting things, and as far as I can tell, this could be your first day here, for all the memorable stuff you've posted.
So if you think you've made more positive contributions to this place, I guess your taste is where you've crawled...again, whoever you are.
[Unfortunately, that sums it up. I stay home (along with many others) if Romney is the nominee.
Here we go again. I’ll just roll out the only two answers needed when dealing with that mentality:
That’s the attitude that got us Obama.
OR...
Those who stayed home had no effect on the outcome, so who cares what they did/do? ]
And let me state the obvious. Know it all GOP country clubbers like you ignored the base cause you knew better and put loser McCain into the nomination. You got exactly what we predicted, a loss.
Now you want to go down the exact same path with Romney, trying to push a closet socialist down our throats no matyter how often wew tell you we will bolt. Well good luck with that Bucko. Homey don’t play that game no more.
It's funny watching someone who gets off the topic to personally insult someone then get all weepy about someone else "making it personal".
That you can't stick to the actual points I make, and have to just invent lies so you can then "attack" me in your weak, uninformed way, says all that need be said about you. But it's funny watching you get so crybaby about it. :)
This article is full of BS. I like Romney and Palin. Palin more, but I was hoping against hope that Romney would beat Juan McCain last year.
He’s ran a state, a business, and the Olympics. I trust him to re-think his approach with RomneyCare because he is, at his core, a competent executive. I would think that he could evaluate the results there and see that it’s failing and not suitable for national duplication. As for what he said when he was running against Teddy Kennedy, I don’t give a damn. I’d support anyone saying anything for the Swimmer’s political career to have ended prematurely.
The RDS Freepers better get over it and start thinking rationally. Romney or Palin will lead the country back from Obamageddon.
(yawn)
Homey dont play that game no more.
Oh wow, you're like so street.
Now THAT is funny!
And Darkwolf, in post 89, shows limited conventional thinking once again by assuming that it was the attitudes of those of us who refuse to vote anymore (see, DarkWolf, most of us have reached this point through hard-learned lessons, not petty lust for vengeance) for liberal Republicans who "got us Obama."
Darkwolf, conventional thinker that he is, fails to consider another possibility: that it was liberal Republicans' arrogance and elitism that "got us Obama." Darkwing doesn't think very far in analyzing cause and effect, I think because he's too emotionally invested to do so.
The thing is, I used to think the same way he did. I learned and am applying what I learned in where I place my vote. Darkwing and his ilk, on the other hand, continue with Einstein's definition of insanity.
[Know it all GOP country clubbers like you
(yawn)
Homey dont play that game no more.
Oh wow, you’re like so street. ]
And you are, like, so yawn. I got that line from some idiot who couldn’t respond with anything better than yawns.
Project much?
Darkwing and his ilk, on the other hand, continue with Einstein's definition of insanity.
This is pretty funny coming from someone who claimed to know all my thoughts posted here, and then wondered what my thoughts were about these topics...in the exact same post.
Please continue, it's fun watching your head spin!
That's such a great response it needed repeating. Marvelous.
I guess we're done.
Now, FM, hang on there a sec -- if Darkwolf has contributed financially to the FReepathon, then he deserves his due. I have to respect folks who put their money where there mouths are. On the other hand, if Darkwolf is a moocher and has never sent any $$ to Free Republic, to hell with him!
Wrong! McCain won the primaries because many of them were open. He didn't win all of the primaries. He did win the open primaries because of the democrats who flocked to the booths to vote for the worse candidate available. Not that the rest of them were much better. The GOP blew it, like they have been doing by pushing all the old has been RINOs and disregarding their base. It cost them the election. The reason Bozo got so many votes? It wasn't just the black vote that did it, he got many, many republican votes, some of my friends, ex-friends now, voted for him because they believed the MSM lies and because they said they would rather vote for a real dimwit and not a fake one.
McCain lost the election on his own merit, by being a frickin' wimp during the campaign, by ham stringing Palin and by making idiotic remarks such as,"You have no reason to fear Bozo, he will make a good President!". They don't come any frickin' dumber than that.
As for Mitt, I will never vote for that guy.
[That’s such a great response it needed repeating. Marvelous.
I guess we’re done. ]
All I did was mirror your thinking level and now you are off in a huff. Go figure.
Good luck pushing Mitt Romneycare, we won’t roll over the way we did for McCain.
Yeesh. You’re a piece of work. Still don’t have any meat to throw me — as in, maybe a time or two where you accurately grasped what the electorate was up to? All you can throw are peanut shells?
What are you babbling about--"off in a huff"? What more is there to say after your last post?
Good luck pushing Mitt Romneycare, we wont roll over the way we did for McCain.
I'm sorry you rolled over for McCain--I sure didn't. As for Romneycare, it's so funny seeing responses like yours, seeing how I've had Romney people bashing me for being a Mass. resident who way back when was attacking Romneycare right here.
I wish people like you would knock off your unfunny, silly "flaming" and just talk about the issues. But you go right ahead with wasting your time bashing people for being for Romneycare, when they're not.
You have gone off on this stupid self-aggrandizing tangent about how you knew all about Hillary and Obama while the rest of the world was in darkness--which has nothing at all to do with the thread, my comments, or anything. You come off as someone who thinks they know all and are very angry because the world won't recognize your genius.
OK, wow, you somehow predicted everything with 100% accuracy, that's great.
No one cares.
Meanwhile, back on the subject of the thread, you've got nothing.
DarkSnark replies: "Project much?"
So you must have missed the timeS (plural) that I have mentioned that I used to think the way you do about rallying behind the GOP nominee no matter what. So any projection is pretty well founded -- I used to be where you are now. You, on the other hand, have yet to put a few twos and twos together. Hopefully you will someday, but not before it's too late.
You sure do like to present yourself as a head-spinner, don't you! Interesting and revealing. Projection, maybe? ;^) *ducking*
Still waiting for you to let me know of a time or two when you’ve correctly called behavior of the electorate. Amusing watching you toss verbal peanut shells and empty cans in what looks like impotent fury, though!
Zzzzzz...
