As I said... She's perfect for a legitimate third party.True conservatives plus a huge chunk of female Republicans as well as many.... MANY independents.

That's not reforming from within... That's capturing specific groups.. even socially conservative democrats as few as there may be.. add them to the truly disaffected conservatives, like me and I suspect you... in the old and now defunct Republicans along with independents leaning right and you have the NEW major party strong enough to defeat socialism.

RepubliCAINS are FINI

I disagree.

It's easier to build common sense conservative coalition from the party where most common sense conservatives now reside. It's easier to build a common sense conservative coalition from a party that has an existing apparatus and infer-structure.

A third party doesn't work if you don't have the majority of support from the voters and if you do have a majority of support from the voters, then you don't need a third party. I think to say otherwise, is an opinion based on inferiority; it's an opinion based on "we can't do it" and it's an opinion based the feeling that common sense conservatism can't be a selling point to the majority.

Why else would one want to give up an existing party apparatus, infrastructure and a place where common sense conservatives now reside and instead form a new party minus these benefits?

Ronald Reagan's philosophy was to take back the Republican party. Was Ronald Reagan a party partisan hack? Was Ronald Reagan in love with the letter "R" and the name "Republican"?

Of course not. Ronald Reagan believed in small government and liberty and he knew the best practical way of achieving that goal. I think Reagan's approach is the correct way to go.
