you have put your finger on it, precisely, Voice. LESS liberal. those that would sacrifice CA on the altar by voting for McClintock, harbor some serious delusions if they think that a state like CA could go from the leftwing cesspool that it is, to a bastion of conservatism. it is unrealistic and foolhardy, IMO. LESS LIBERAL is a good thing.

Right you are! Incrementally is the only way to get conservatism back into California. Much of the state has made a hard left turn since Ronald Regan, and that trend will take time and patience to reverse.
