I'm a bit over-dressed for Military Monday, so I thought I'd stop by here and leave another poem, have some tea and then head over to the Finest thread. (I'm on my way Billie, really.) :-)
((((((((((HUGS ALL AROUND))))))))))
Over the balcony the cool moon shone bright
The fence gate was still ajar in the young night
Moving lantern in the woods announced the arrival of my guest
Smokes arose from the bamboo bush answering my request for tea
Dogs barked at falling meteors from the Autumn sky
gusts of wind carried melancholic tune from distant flute
We sat and chatted long and deep till dawn fell on us
The green moss was full of cold dews crimsoned with twilight
A poem by Ching Dynasty painter, poet, Zhen Banqiao
