I'm not going to complain about rain, that's for sure! We had drought conditions here for several years. The year I bought my house (two years ago) I stayed with my parents all summer and their well had run dry. Really learned to appreciate water!

Our water table is still low, but it has been relatively wet this year (not super wet, but not dry either), which is a very good thing.

I don't have to worry about well water where I live now, but the clay soil is a big concern. I have bedrock 24inches down so foundation trouble should be low probability.

My backyard fence is leaning about 6" however. When I have to work on it, I'll do something more substatial than the builder did.
