The best thing we can do is share with our kids what our parents were to us, especially the good things, so it will help the kids to know them and have a better idea of why we are like we are.

Bingo!!!! dingdingdingding - you get the prize.

You know, my grandfather taught me to play poker. When I was really little. Lessons included facial expressions and mannerisms.

My Granny, Mama's mom, had a sister who lived in Detroit. She'd come down every 10 yrs. or so for a visit. She came when I was about 11 or 12, and she taught my sister and me, and our girl cousins how to play Canasta. She called it Clean and Dirty Canasta. She cussed like a sailor, and my saintly Granny was always fussing at her for talking like that around us. We thought it was so funny!
