If you intend on carrying it, practice opening and closing it whenever you have a free moment alone. (Don't want to freak people out.)
The idea is to build "muscle memory", and neural pathways so that it becomes instinctual. This is taken directly from oriental martial arts, and works for lots of things, including shooting. Do it slowly, and study your movements as you do it. The idea is for perfection every time, and not speed.
Afterwards, visualize the same motions, as a method of reinforcing your exercises.
