In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....

Fireworks are really dangerous. But when you consider the number sold and used versus the number of accidents. They are probably safer than hairdryers. At least in the bathtub.

Once hubby gets the big "V" I'll be immune to that infection finally!

There will be screams for bans. They'll start with office buildings, then restaurants, then bars. Oh sorry that's smoking. Fireworks in those places are perfectly safe. SARCASM OFF. I can't find an update on the FLA explosion. Had to be an unvented trailer or something like that.

If I had a dirty little mind, I would have pointed out that if CJ had taken the photo, then he couldn't have posted the picture in a public forum at all..... How so???
(Shakes head ...)
M'lady, m'lady. Lettuce see if I can unscramble this mess....
See, if CJ had taken the picture of your little puppies and CJ's lap instead of you taking the picture of your little puppies from CJ's lap...then (you) would have obviously blocked the view of the puppies (which clearly didn't happen!) but if you'd have been in the picture of CJ's lap and the cute little puppies (instead of just your cute little puppies being in the picture and CJ's lap) then CJ could have taken the picture but then the picture would have not been appropriate for children and thus couldn't have been displayed in a public forum (though maybe in pwnthouse's Forum but not in a public forum...) even though that would mean that CJ did take the picture of your cute little puppies in public.
Then again....If CJ HAD taken a picture of your cute little puppies then maybe THAT picture wouldn't be appropriate for a public forum either... (Takes long breath...)
Hobby! Hobby! Help me out here a minute. Can you explain things better?

I'd like to say you have the morals of a tomcat, but you don't. What scares me is that I actually followed your explanation. It makes no sense but I followed it. I need to stop drinking at work ; )

No puppy news.
But Daddy did yeoman's work in the birthday present department. He dropped off everything for me to wrap on his way to his last service call of the day and picking up the B'day girl.
He got her a watch- a real one not a digital - he wants her to learn how to tell time properly. Also a jump rope, something called Blow-Pens that she has been begging for over a year - and a huge squirt gun called a Squirt Tech Viper something or other.
He even picked out great girly girl wrapping paper and bows in her favorite colors!!!
the watch was his idea and he had planned it all along, he picked out the rest so that I didn't have to go out in the rain today - I gotta love that man.
