Then you probably won't like this...I read a quote of Renee's recently where she pretty much fawned all over Michael Moore's 'Stupid White Men'. She expressed her embarrassment at her own ignorance. She was glad to be "enlightened" by the scruffy one.

These sorts of outbursts appear to occur to actors just before they go into career dive.
Remember Alec Baldwin anyone? His "stoning" remark confirmed he was living under the illusion that any statement he made about political foes was immunized from backlash.
I wouldn't call him the basis for a trivia question as yet, but it strikes me that Baldwin's move to the B-List paralleled the growing irrationality and irresponsibility of his political rhetoric.
The more Clooney rants, the more the public will tire of him. When that happens, he'll join Baldwin outside the loop of bankable celebs.
