"GWB ran away and hid?"
Oh, crap. I sure remember Dan Rather initially reporting something like that. He speculated on the reasons Bush might not have headed straight back to Washington when he learned of the attacks. I don't recall exactly what he said, but it was dripping with his suspicion of the President's motives and an insinuation of cowardice. Gee, Dan and cLOONEY, maybe someone felt it was important to protect the life of our President in a time of national crisis. I guess it didn't occur to this pair of dungwads that things would have been even more chaotic (duh) if Bush had been harmed. Not that they would have minded. "No matter how you feel about him, he's still the President." Thanks for the tip, Dan.

No kidding. /sarcasm on/ I'm always comforted by the fact that Dan Blather knows more about what's going on with the internal workings of the goverment than does the President./sarcasm off/
Additionally, I was warmed to see Danno standing on the heaps of smoldering steel and addressing those firemen so aggressivaly "I can hear YOU!" Gosh, it was great to see him there.

It was Petah Jennings, not Dan Rather. Tom, Dan, or Petah, though, they're all leftist clooneys, er... clones.
