What if we don't find weapons?

I'm starting to get worried here guys. Personally, i don't care if there's weapons or not, iraq still needed to be taken out. But do you think its going to hurt us politically if we don't find weapons?
Or do you think I'm being premature? I need some reassurance here.

You're being premature. We've been in Iraq only two weeks. Once we gain control of the regime's archives, we'll have a better idea of where to look and how to get rid of any weapons of mass destruction it possesses. Saddam wasn't playing games with the UN because he didn't have such weapons but rather that he was so good at hiding them from the world. With his dictatorship gone the odds are we'll eventually find them. And do have better inspectors on the ground to aid us in disarmament than the UN ever had.

Saddam's stuff is probably hidden in the deep bunkers the Germans built for him ... and there's supposed to be several of those ... it will take months to search them all ... we'll find gas stuff I have no doubt ... bio maybe ... nuclear, nothing even close to working (meaning I doubt he had fissionable material in bomb form ... (thank you Israel) ... it's one thing to get it ... it's quite a different matter to make it work as a weapon)...

It's not a matter of
if, rather a matter of
when, if not already.
In the interim, I'm sadly confident that evidence which rivals the ferocity of Auschwitz, Dachau, etc. will surface, and WMD will, to the thinking human, become a secondary issue.

I'm confident we will.
And don't listen to the BS from the lefties about us "planting weapons".

Buckle up! Get a grip! Gird your loins!
You know what's coming. The left would scream "not enough" if Americans found a ton of poisons. We've already found enough evidence for reasonable people to conclude that Saddam has been making the stuff and would use it, or give it away to people who would. But the enemies of President Bush are NOT reasonable.
Any minute now, the media will start the drumbeat of criticizing President Bush. They will skip the part about congratulating the military for their success and go right on to the drumbeat of criticizing President Bush..as if the media is disappointed. It's almost as if they won't credit Bush with success unless American soldiers get gassed.
News this morning proves my point. Skip congratulations and attaboy for Bush and Franks. Change the subject back to politics: Democrats announce they want Cheney and Haliburton investitgated. How's that for trying to change the subject?
