I wouldn't want to be accused of war profiteering, but I can see career opportunities for real Alaskans in the war on terrorism.
Among the steps the Department of Homeland Security is recommending to citizens is to stockpile plastic sheeting and duct tape. Who knows more about plastic sheeting and duct tape than real Alaskans? No one, that's who.

FWIW, almost all poly sheeting sold is coated with a thin film of oil to make it handle easier. A side effect is that duct tape won't stick to it. Something that would be unpleasant to discover at the wrong moment.
