We're going to the pizza party for supper, then on to the cinema for the pre-movie party...so I will be gone from about 5:00pm central till about 3:30am. I will try to report in in the morning, but don't hold your breath! LOL

My mom and dad are keeping the boys until after lunch tomorrow.

What do you think the odds are that you will be able to take the boys to this one? You think you will? Or would you be covering their eyes for too much of it?

I think we should all take a lesson from Legolas and Gimli. Lets put aside the dwarf/elf differences, and recognize each others strengths, :-).

I am concerned about it, from what I hear...and have already been preparing Matthew for the possibility. He is denial about it though and I've not pushed it since I haven't seen it. I'll decide after I've seen it a couple of times.

I might just wait to let him see it till after it comes out in DVD, so I can monitor it in the comfort of my own livingroom.

I never took Joshua to the regular cinema and when it came out in the cheap cinema, I always took him during naptime and he slept through most of it in my arms. I doubt I'll be able to do it with this one, since he's tapering off on the nap-taking now.

Yep, I've heard the same thing. People who have already seen it saying they can't believe it's not rated R. I'll just have to see. He can stand some violence, but I never allowed him to watch the decapitations or Boromir getting shot. I thought he might find it too disturbing. So if the movie is chock full of this kind of stuff...it won't be worth buying him a ticket if I'm constantly covering his eyes!
