LOL! This reminds me that my granddaughter got ahold of the remote a few weeks ago, and got our satellite so messed up I had to call Direct TV and get someone to help me reprogram!

The only thing I can claim is that compared to my sisters, I am the internet genius! HAR! That should give you an idea of how out of it THEY are!

Our kids don't understand how we can be quite so dumb about computers and other such gizmos. We don't understand how they learned all they know because we certainly didn't teach them. They both earn their living on computers.

The 2 remotes are going to be a challenge to learn. To switch from regular tv to HD or from tv to the DVD or VCR, you have to hit some buttons on one remote and some on the other .... in the proper sequence. Hubby and I are fondly remembering the days you just brought a tv set home, plugged it into an outlet, turned it on, and sat down to watch.

Yep - they can put so many options on these tiny chips that it's totally bewildering to me. Where is the on/off, up/down, louder/quieter button these days? Even the stupid microwave ovens are almost beyond comprehension - that's why I've not changed out our machine that you spin the knob to how long you wish it to nuke, crank around to the proper power level and mash start.

The great technology we have today is so awesome that the design engineers are outsmarting me anyway. Please turn back the clock a little bit - oh wait, that digital also.
