I have a neighbor who was smuggled out of Iran. She says that her family (still there) are hoping that we will invade. Says things are horrible there. They even ration the water.

Our contractor is from Iran. they left around the time the shah was deposed. i haven't talked to him in over a year, but a more patriotic American you would not meet. he is very pro_US and a CONSERVATIVE beyond belief. we used to discuss Clinton in disgust back in the old days of the bubba administration.

i agree it should be NO. let's wait to have the holiday for when we have the equivalent of a V-J day.... I voted No, then saw that Sea did right after....no holiday on BinLaden's biggest victory day, we will wait till after OUR big victory.
To: SCalGal
The Ayatollah's days are numbered.
Good news here and here. Well not exactly good news but it shows the forces of pro-western reform are strong and many.

no holiday on BinLaden's biggest victory day, we will wait till after OUR big victory. I say no holiday at all. Make it a victory day, yes but not a holiday. All the f###ing bleeding heart liberals will turn it into another MLK day so they can have another day off.

You picked a good one to use again.
Hello everyone.

(had to be - Islamic law prescribed death to people who abandoned Islam - that includes my own). This is part of why I'm beginning to think the Inquisition may just have gotten a wee bit too much bad press. Sure they were terrible to the Jews and that's shameful, but they did get Mohammedans out of Spain.

islam is peace, remember? That's a mistranslation. It is a religion of piece. A piece over here, a piece over there....

Hello sweetness,
So you think I'm going to get flamed for that one do you? Perhaps I should post it in the other thread and see what happens.
To: dubyaismypresident
It goes, it goes. We're doing a lot of training, orientation and stuff like that.
I'm off on my lunch break. :-)
