I'm a little melancholy today - just wanting to wish health, happiness, and safety to all my "Word" friends......... I wish you all the best too.

I miss her too. I was just thinking of her as I looked at a picture of the plane hitting the Pentagon, and thinking how sad she, and all the others, are lost to us.

I might reread part of one of her books just to remember the life, not the early death.

i can't see anything here and am just as glad for it. i want to be MAD not sad, today. that is why revanche is such a great word.

Stupid DemocRATS should not be allowed to vote. It has been made such a simple process that not being able to get it right would not be something they should admit. Plug in machine, make sure is programmed, touch square next to name you are voting for, review, hit finished! Not to mention that every voter has a poll worker to show him how the touch screen works and of whom, the dumb idiot can ask questions, should he still not get it!

That's why I picked it. It's time to stop crying. Life is for the living, as it has been said so many times. And the living need to realize that extremist terrorists are out there and we need to get going!
To: dubyaismypresident
Sometimes sad = mad = revanche. A good thing.
To: wingnuts'nbolts
I agree, it would seem to make sense that SOME degree of intelligence be demanded of voters...

agreed. what is bugging me, amidst all of the touchy feely stuff of today, is that i sense that the resolve to back up the president in the war on terror, is faltering. people, for all of the tears and remembering today, i think don't FEEL that outrage as vividly today. and that has to stop. it better not take ANOTHER lifeshattering catastrophe to keep people on the dang wagon.

Another person who's taking too long to die -
Yoko Ono.
Maybe this'll cheer you up a little, Why. Do you realize that if Yoko Ono married composer Luigi Nono (he died a couple of years ago, but never mind, this is an old joke) and wrote a musical piece for nine instruments based on an old musical, you could call it the "Yoko Ono Nono No No Nanette Nonette"?

I'm chock full of furious anger. Another reason I don't need to watch the sappy stuff.

The kids' school had a prayer service this AM. Parents were invited. Aside from the fact that i am working today, i would not go because they are praying for World Peace, and i don't believe we can have that w/o eradicating some riffraff from the middle east, as well as a few other places. And i don't think they can be eradicated in a PEACEFUL manner.

me too. as xshub said this AM, when someone asked his opinion on what should be done about Iraq, they need to be bombed back to the #$#% stone age.

If you want the revanche to be ours then don't let
THIS happen.......
To: SeaDragon
That gets a big NO from me, Sea.
To: xsmommy
I'm with xshub. I don't care why they hate us. I don't even care that they do hate us.
I simply want them to be afraid to ever mess with us again. The whole area's a cesspool, with the exception of Israel, and possibly Turkey. Pick a country, turn it into glass. Iraq is good - start cleaning house there.
Sorry there are innocent civilians there. However, I'm much more concerned about our innocent civilians than I am anyone else's. We need to take care of our own.
