It appears that Latin American listens
with avidity to the pronouncements made by Paul O'Neill, Treasury Secty. He makes a lot of sense, as far as i am concerned.
O'Neill's hands-off approach to foreign financial crises is a reflection of the Bush administration's ''compassionate conservatism,'' other Latin American officials say. Tough nuggies, people. We aren't here to constantly bail your butts out of trouble, contrary to past administrations.
