Great...I finally happen to be in the same time zone as the World Cup (Japan), and the US-South Korea game is NOT going to be broadcast on local TV. Guess I'll have to catch the highlights show.

Did you watch Korea's first match? Though the Koreans are not generally considered a strong side, I think the US team will be in for quite a fight if the Koreans show the same hustle they did against Poland.

Yeah, South Korea has been in the past a very bad side. They have made it to the World Cup quite a few times but they always get thrashed.

This side is a little different and when you play in your backyard it usually evens things up. I hope the U.S. advances to the second round because in '98 it was embarassing to say the least. The U.S. '98 performance was a real set back for soccer in the U.S. Bruce Arena has coached winners in the past and I really believe this team could advance to the quarterfinals.
