What is wrong with the (majority) of voters in Massachusetts?

I was optimistic because I've seen far more Minogue signs than Healey signs in my county, but I also tried tempering my expectations given we are stronghold for the most degenerate politicians....

but seriously, WTF?? What has caused such apathy, ignorance, and delusion to befall the electorate in the last few decades?

Many people in this state live fairly prosperously compared to those from other states...I just don't get the political mindset of these folks...

New Englanders have English ancestry. Look at England. The people with English ancestry in America are installing a totalitarian police state just like England.

Too many colleges and private schools here, brother.

And, they are staffed by crazy leftist women. All the rot starts in kindergarten and is amped up at every grade level. Fortunately, our child never drank the Kool-Aid.

A shameful state of affairs now when this is where the Revolution kicked off.

People are not all political. They vote with their stomachs. $5.00 gas and what it does to the price of food is enough to sway elections.

If (and sadly it seems like this is a big if) the DOE removes all forms of federal funding to higher education (grants, student loans, etc.), the amount of screaming, shrieking, and collective hyperventilating in the streets of Cambridge and Boston will be so vast that us normal folks may need to wear ear plugs 24/7.

people don’t want to have to think about every decision they make, so they come to a general conclusion and apply it to all detail decisions. In Massachusetts a lot of people have made the general conclusion that “Democrat Good, Republican Bad” and didn’t even give a second thought to the particular race you are ranting about.

Funny, because my food and my gas was higher with Biden. We had a temporary reprieve with Trump. Now we will ALL have higher prices than before.

Democrats never fix anything. They only create new and worse problems.

Time for us to buckle up, Buttercup!

Yup! Conservatives in NV had little representation. Now it is ZERO. And folks thought our last demo gov was bad? The one just elected is currently atty gen so he knows how to get stuff pushed. And he knows how to do it under the table. Calieast.

I am reminded of years ago when a reporter asked a voter whom he was going to vote for and he said “Ted Kennedy.”
Reporter asked “Why?”
Man could not answer and asked his wife, “Why always Ted?”
Her answer was...”Because we always have voted for him.”

Must be something in the water.

How does voting for democrats help that? Zero critical thinking skill involved. That’s the main problem - a majority of voters have zero critical thinking ability.

Two reasons IMO. And this really goes for most of the country as well.

1. Our public schools are brainwashing the kids to hate what America stands for and what made it great. Not to mention they were successful at removing God as well.

2. Then the liberal media follows that up by reinforcing and confirming those beliefs.

What results from that is what we are seeing right now. A mostly Godless society that puts value on material possessions and selfishness over being a God fearing America loving patriot.

I did notice the Minogue signs everywhere…. I was never fooled. The people of this state will absolutely cut off their nose to spite their faces. This mental defect however is hardly limited to Mass. Lots of folks today think theyve “won”. Mass is what “winning” has looked like under dems forever. Mass is a criminal loving, unaffordable mess of a state before “affordability” even became a leftist buzzword. Good luck America.

Massachusetts native Ben Franklin was prescient. He had serious doubts that a Republic would last. John Adams, another Massachusetts native, was also correct. When a people embrace neo pagan, hedonistic decadence no constitution however wonderful, can save or preserve a nation. Degenerates now rule. If the nation is to survive it will be up to decent, rugged individualists to be at the core of the faithful remnant that one day, perhaps not in our lifetime will ascend.
