Outgoing Senator John Cornyn Sends Alarming Public Statement Via His X Account
The Conservative Treehouse - The Last Refuge ^ | October 19, 2026 | Sundance

There are, as best I can fathom, three possible options for what you are about to read from Texas Senator John Cornyn.

The outgoing senator sent this public statement via his X Account:

[SOURCE]

It is the official position of the United States government that Ukraine has never had access to the “Starshield” global satellite system used by the United States military for communication and global guidance targeting.  Giving Ukraine access to Starshield would be akin to the United States operating missile and drone targeting of nuclear armed Russia.

For obvious reasons the U.S. government would not want to escalate to direct military conflict with a nuclear-armed power.

Senator John Cornyn is a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee; Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and Cornyn has been a long-time tenured member of the Republican Senatorial Leadership Team.  There are three options behind this X message:

Option #1 – Senator John Cornyn genuinely doesn’t know that Ukraine has never had access to “Starshield.” The implications within this possibility are alarming, especially when you consider his senate office staff wouldn’t stop him from making a public fool of himself.

Option #2 – Assuming he’s not made a mistake. Senator John Cornyn has just publicly exposed a deep state, highly classified secret, outlining to Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin that the United States has indeed been operating the Ukraine targeting system against Russia all along.  This has major implications.

Option #3 – Again, assuming he’s not made a mistake.  Senator John Cornyn has just exposed that elements within the United States government are controlling military operations and operating without the knowledge of President Donald Trump and Secretary of state Marco Rubio.

You choose.

One thing is very clear, someone from Vladimir Putin’s office is very likely calling someone in the White House chain of command to gain clarity.  Maybe that ‘friction’ and/or ‘deconfliction’ problem is the reason Cornyn wants to kick sand?

This is a private satellite company.

StarLink can choose its customers and/or set restrictions.

Outgoing Senator John Cornyn

Are there any sweeter words? Maybe "Imprisoned Senator John Cornyn."

“Senator John Cornyn is a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee; Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and Cornyn has been a long-time tenured member of the Republican Senatorial Leadership Team.”

Ya

Why is anyone paying any attention to him.

The voters wanted him out. And for a long time. He has done nothing. Nothing. For Texas

He sapped the RNC of $100,000,000 in a Republican primary to Ken Paxton, the only one working in government, the Texas AG, who spent $17 mil in a primary

Some of that RNC $ or all should go to Paxton trying to beat Talarico

Cornyn and busboy rove working against Paxton in his race against Talarico

Not only is he a dem but Texans have told Cornyn he’s out

Cornyn took all resources going against the will of the Texas voters and won’t shut up about he can’t read the room. Texas wants him out

Why is anyone listening to cornyn?

So, Corntard’s on the take, too?

Not that I’m surprised.

Isn’t it shocking that all of the lefties that support that crap are still allowed on this Christian, conservative site?

Trying to help his Democrat friends. He was entitled to the Senate seat and those Republicans stole it from him.

Someone is walking into a trap on this one

Starlink is a civilian satellite datalink system and it is forbidden to use for offensive and perhaps defensive military purposes

Of course, the Ukraine has been pushing the envelope and has been possibly been using Starlink for offensive purposes and may be highly dependent upon the system for some of its most advanced and effective drones

It’s also possible that Ukraine has gained unauthorized use of Starshield from a us ally

Regardless, the public comments by Zelensky are very damning and my lead to a crack down on Ukraines data link use , especially for offensive use

FWIW , given the panic with Zelensky and his supporters, it seems that Zelensky’s arrogance in proclaiming that he is liberated to attack Russia because Shashington has no leverage over him may have been both premature and ill advised

“Corntard” I like that. I’m going to get some mileage off of your label, if you don’t protest.

How, John? How is it in our national interest to prolong this unwinnable war by siding with Ukraine? It’s the same Ukraine that was pronounced the most corrupt country in the world by the media in 2019. Are you corrupt too, John?
