At first glance, it reads like satire – something so grotesque and absurd that it cannot possibly be real. But it is real. In Central Florida, Stand With Abortion Now (“SWAN”) is selling merchandise that turns the intentional killing of unborn children into a joke, a fashion statement, and a fundraising opportunity. We are linking to SWAN’s own website once so readers can see the organization’s words and merchandise for themselves. What follows is not parody. It is how SWAN describes – and markets – its work.
SWAN is a pro-abortion clinic-escort group founded in June 2022, immediately after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. The organization boasts that it was established “directly after the destruction of Roe vs Wade by the fascist Supreme Court.” It declares that it will protect and expand abortion “by all means necessary.”
But SWAN’s own social-media posts and merchandise strip away those familiar euphemisms. In a recent Instagram post, the group listed how it spends donated money: paying for abortions at its clinic and a sister clinic in Tampa, funding travel for out-of-state abortions, providing mutual aid, and bailing “comrades” out of jail. Then came the appeal: “we just need yall to kill the babies.”
The same organization operates a Shopify store headlined, “100% authentic pro abortion merchandise” and invites customers to “Fight abortion bans in STYLE.”
SWAN evidently believes this merchandise is clever satire – a way to ridicule pro-life Americans by twisting the truth we tell about abortion into grotesque slogans and images. Some of it is so vile that we cannot show or even describe it here. But the attempted mockery backfires. Rather than discrediting the pro-life position, these products draw attention to the very reality the abortion industry has spent decades hiding behind euphemisms like “choice,” “healthcare,” and “reproductive freedom.”
One product states the pro-abortion position with chilling clarity: There should be no limits on abortion – no matter the stage of pregnancy or the circumstances.
The “Mife and Miso” T-shirt uses nicknames for mifepristone and misoprostol – the two drugs commonly used together in a chemical abortion. Mifepristone blocks progesterone, causing the unborn child’s developing environment to break down, and misoprostol induces contractions to expel the child from the womb. What the shirt presents as a cute pairing is a reference to the abortion-pill regimen that ends an unborn human life.
These are not the slogans of people who portray abortion as a tragic last resort. They are declarations from people who treat abortion as a political weapon, a cultural identity, and Halloween-season entertainment. “Fetuses Fear Me” and “I Don’t Care If Abortion Is Murder” are not subtle. Neither is “kill the babies.” The point is provocation – but the reality behind the provocation is the death of an unborn child.
And SWAN’s advocacy does not stop with slogans and merchandise. Its resources direct women to Aid Access, an organization that distributes abortion pills by mail to women in all 50 states – including states whose laws protect unborn life. This is not merely an online referral. It is part of a nationwide system designed to move abortion drugs into pro-life states despite those states’ laws.
That interstate scheme is now at the center of major litigation. Louisiana, Arkansas, and Alabama have filed an original action in the U.S. Supreme Court challenging the “shield laws” of New York, Massachusetts, and California – laws intended to protect abortion providers who prescribe and mail abortion drugs into states where that conduct is unlawful. The states argue that these shield laws obstruct their sovereign authority to enforce their own pro-life laws. The case places the interstate distribution of abortion drugs and the validity of shield laws squarely before the Court.
The ACLJ will be filing an amicus brief in support of the plaintiff states. States that have chosen to protect unborn children should not be forced to surrender those protections because activists and out-of-state providers have built a mail-order system to evade them. And states should not be permitted to use so-called shield laws as a sword against the sovereignty of their neighbors.
Abortion ends the life of a precious human being. From fertilization, that human being possesses unique DNA and develops in a continuous process that, unless interrupted, proceeds through every stage of human life. Abortion is not the healing of a disease or the restoration of a broken body. It intentionally ends one human life for the perceived benefit of another—it destroys and breaks. SWAN’s merchandise and social-media posts do not hide that reality. They mock it, market it, and monetize it.
SWAN presents itself as a compassionate protector of women. Its public image –clinic escorts in pink vests, rainbow umbrellas, period pantries, and mutual aid –exists alongside calls to “kill the babies,” apparel treating unborn children as objects of fear or indifference, referrals to abortion-pill distributors operating across state lines, and Halloween branding that turns death into seasonal fashion.
This is what the post-Roe abortion movement looks like when it stops performing for polite company. It is not the careful language of “choice” or the insistence that abortion is a private tragedy. It is power, ideology, defiance of pro-life laws, and the open celebration of killing unborn human beings.
Americans who recognize the inherent dignity of every human life – born and unborn – should see SWAN’s store, social-media posts, and abortion-pill referrals for what they are: a clear declaration that human lives are disposable and that ending those lives is something to promote, mock, market, and monetize. It may read like satire. Tragically, it is not.

As someone who used to read all the leftist publications that I could get my hands on, a practice that I hope some conservatives are still doing, I was ready for the feminist campaign of “I don’t care if it is a baby I’m killing”, in your face rebuttal since I read it in MS magazine during the 1990s.
What did surprise me is that while they have nibbled at the argument, it hasn’t really taken hold as their primary position yet, it surfaces as a position but still isn’t commonly expressed.
I’m pro-life on both ends of the lifespan, even though I view death as merely another learning experience for my soul to grow closer to God.
We need bumper stickers “Abort Abortionists.”

They have painted themselves into an intellectual corner where they have to say things like that, and it is one of the reasons that the cognitive dissonance in their brains is so powerful that they appear to be (and most often, are) suffering from a mental disorder.
In their hearts, if they have them, they know that abortion is wrong. But it has become such a sacrament to women on the Left, that to allow themselves to accept that abortion is murder, because it is one of their ideological foundational pillars, to collapse that one pillar of abortion brings their entire belief system to its knees.
But they must maintain that these laws regarding abortion (that they fought so hard for) override all other moral considerations or strictures that would restrict them in any way, and that includes saying that law overrides a moral restraint such as murder.
I watched a video of Matt Walsh recently discussion the "Cornell 7", and there is an odd similarity in that situation to this one described above where a woman swears that she doesn't care if abortion is murder, it is the law of the land that it be allowed, and that is the end of it for her. But in her heart, she knows it is murder, and that it is morally wrong. But her conscious intellect cannot face that fact. And so, she has cognitive dissonance that is corrosive and destructive.
Most people have varying degrees of cognitive dissonance. For most of us, it is a BB or a ball bearing rolling around inside of our cranium. To people on the Left, this looks more like a bowling ball causing havoc in their minds.
For nearly half a century or more now, Leftist women (and men) have been building another "pillar" of their ideology, and that is that any sexual behavior, no matter how degrading, repulsive, or aberrant, is a personal choice that cannot be questioned as long as all parties consented to it.
So when this female student at Cornell willfully engaged in these sexual acts that many "normal" people still view as degrading, repulsive, and aberrant, and her reputation on campus was destroyed in addition to being disinvited to the biggest party of the year, she had nowhere intellectually or ideologically to go.
She KNEW in her heart that her behavior was degrading to her and repulsive or aberrant to even many of her fellow Leftist students who shunned her after hearing she willfully let a large group of male students have their way with her as she snorted Ketamine off the private parts of one of the males involved.
If she was feeling sad or disgusted, there had to be a "reason" in her mind.
Matt Walsh opined that her choices of how to deal with her resultant anger and sadness at this campus-wide reaction to her behavior were so narrowed down that her avenues of intellectual escape were non-existent, except for one path, and one path only. If her ideology states clearly that nothing done sexually should be subject to any kind of moral censure that would make her feel angry or sad.
And that one choice to channel her sadness, regret, and most of all, anger, was the channel of: Consent.
In the case of Leftists to whom a foundational pillar of their existence is not God, but abortion, it is the channel of disregarding the moral crime of murder by saying it is irrelevant because their own God, The Government, has said it is "legal".
Part of the problem is that people on the Left reject God. Their driving force is the God of Government. In their world, any rights you have are not “Natural Rights” which are not given by government, and so, cannot be taken away as we Conservatives believe.
In their world, any rights you have, including the right to life, are given and taken away by the government. They simply do not understand the ramifications of accepting this.
If they could accept it, they would then understand why Marxist and Communist ideology is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of millions of their OWN citizens in the 20th Century. Because a Government that grants you the privilege to live can also remove that “privilege” if your life is inconvenient to them.
All communists and Marxists must eliminate a religious God, which Marx and Engels tried to do with their “matter based”, “scientific” explanation of existence. When you do not have God, and substitute Government as your guiding force, that can change on a day-by-day basis depending on “who” controls government.
The only thing (sort of) new is openly proclaiming it.
The only reason these reprobates “don’t care about murder” is because it’s happening to OTHERS. They’d feel differently about murder if they were their parent’s, or some criminal’s targets. Liberals don’t care about crimes because THEY personally aren’t involved except in the case of infanticide- then they do love it). As long as others are targeted and not them, their attitude is to protect the criminal and criminalize or re-victimize the victims.
It shows how depraved that their minds have b3come when they claim they “Don not care if it is murder”. And why would they? Their father, the evil one, is the father of murder/evil. Hopefully God will get through to them thst what they beleive is heinous at some point in their lives.
