After his team lost the game, Rams offensive lineman Alaric Jackson lost his cool and punched Bills linebacker Bradley Chubb.
Well after the game was over, while Chubb talked to players on both teams near midfield, Jackson walked over to him and they briefly exchanged words before Jackson threw a right hook to Chubb’s jaw. Chubb was unfazed afterward.

one game suspension
fine
I can’t believe no one walked up and punched Minkah Fitzpatrick on Sunday. First he rips KC Concepcion’s helmet off, then a few plays later he hits him helmet-to-helmet and celebrates over his limp body. What a d0uche
Alaric Jackson is already up for a suspension-domestic violence. Puka Nacua supposedly bit his girlfriend. Do you really think the suits in the NFL office would really suspend their most exciting player(Nacua) or the guy who protects Matthew Stafford’s blindside? Since Stafford has a bad back him going down would be bad for ratings big time.
Nat’l Felons again.
The original Alaric sacked Rome. Alaric is not a fitting name for someone who is an offensive lineman.
He should have punched his own placekicker.
The NFL doesn’t mess around when it comes to this woke stuff-Zero tolerance. Still, they’re scared of blacks because the blacks are their bread and butter-they know it. By suspending one at a time here and there the low tolerance element is emphasized just like the woke stuff. Take out Jackson and the marketing element goes out the window once Stafford goes down. Too many big name stars are dropping and this is their response. The Jackson domestic issue we’re waiting to hear on was his second-go figure.
He should have punched his own placekicker.
That kicker needs to lay off of the burritos.
Puka Nacua? Gezundheit!
In the world of toxic black culture, sticking your finger into the face of another subscriber to the toxic black culture is sure to provoke a response. Chubb may or may not be a subscriber to toxic black culture (I know nothing about him) but he can't be unaware of it. But from all accounts, Jackson surely seems to live in that world.
Chubb may not be in that orbit (again, I know little about him other than he is considered to be a pretty good player) but has to be fully aware of that dynamic. It would be suicidal not to.
I don't approve of that thug punching him in the face, but if you are steeped in that toxic culture (or even exposed to it on a daily basis) sticking your finger in the face of another subscriber is a sure way to escalate to physical violence.
Those of us who are observers accurately note that what ever was said by Jackson to Chubb is the cardinal sin in that culture of "disrespect", and Chubb sticking his finger in Jackson's face is another cardinal sin that means the violence is sure to ensue.
When we hear about shootings in strip clubs by black professional athletes, it is probably an escalation just like this one, just in a different setting.
Good thing Jackson didn't have a gun. Or Chubb.
Thomas Sowell wrote about this "disrespect" dynamic in his excellent book: Black Rednecks and White Liberals and why it is so corrosive and destructive to the black community.
It used to be that if a kicker made over 50% of his FGs, that was considered good.
Now the expectation is that you make every kick, even the ones beyond 50 yards. So if you miss two kicks in a game, odds are you’re getting cut.
At least it didn’t cost the game, unlike with that idiot Bama player, who got the personal foul against Georgia.
That happens too...
I understand the high emotions. But if you live in that world, you gotta have mental defenses and discipline to keep from getting engulfed in it.
Fun game!!
It’s time to start giving these brain damaged goons serious jail time.
The punch was done after the game was over, and is chargeable as a misdemeanor battery under California Penal Code 242. California probably won’t file charges or Chubb will decline to testify anyway. The league needs to suspend Jackson without pay for the rest of the season.
GREAT game! With the OT we got more than our money’s worth. As a 49er fan I watched just to see the Rams lose-almost disappointed. The Rams now have a short week to prepare for the next game after working ot.
I’m still patiently waiting for the suspensions to come through.
There’s a great pic of Cook when the Rams missed the kick.
