Lot’s of factors I would guess. Obesity. Drug use. Gang violence. Importation of criminals. Maybe more accidents (wonder if legalization of cannabis plays a role?). Increased suicide. Perhaps mRNA vaccine contribution.
Also, in that age range, early onset coronary disease is not uncommon.

I went to my 55th college reunion las June, and what I noticed is that almost all of the alumni from the 90s and 2000-2010 were not merely overweight, but obese, some morbidly so. Almost no one from that group, and particularly the women, looked fit. How skinny suits came to fashion with that cohort under these circumstances in a mystery to me.
No, mRNA altered immunity and made way for cancer & heart disease.

Sorry, I don’t follow you. The Covid-18 rollout was in December 2020, time enough to affect 2021 mortality. The article mentions Covid, masking, etc. as relevant also.
The article mentions universal healthcare favorably. It seems clear that the article has different biases than do I. I’ll remind everyone that “the cause” is more important than “the truth” to people on the left. That can definitely affect the results of their “studies.”
