Hunter Co-founded BHR Partners with Chinese business partner. Hunter Biden helped form BHR in 2013 (when Joe Biden was vice president), but reports indicate he did not acquire his small equity stake until after that vice-presidential term concluded.

The Cobalt Mine Transaction: While BHR participated as a minority stakeholder in a 2016 consortium that facilitated a Chinese company purchasing a stake in a Democratic Republic of Congo copper and cobalt mine.

Hunter Biden’s attorneys maintain his business deals were private. Joe Biden was not involved. Investigations did not prove policy actions favored China.

While on the trip, Hunter Biden met briefly with Jonathan Li, a Chinese business partner with whom he was forming the private equity firm BHR Partners (Bohai Harvest RST).

LAUGH BREAK: Representatives for Hunter Biden maintained that the interaction was strictly a "social visit."

Hunter Biden calculatedly arranged for Jonathan Li to briefly shake hands with Joe Biden in their hotel lobby. The handshake was worth millions since in those greed-driven Third World countries bragging rights wrt a handshake are worth millions.
