The Super Bowl halftime show has evolved into a worldwide entertainment phenomenon as well as a football event, and the NFL might be setting very ambitious goals for 2027. Popular pop icons Justin Bieber and Harry Styles are reportedly among the leading names on Jay-Z's Roc Nation wish list. Super Bowl LXI is currently scheduled to take place on Feb. 14 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
TMZ Sports recently reported that, according to their sources, both Bieber and Styles are high on Roc Nation's short list. The Jay-Z company is partnered with the NFL as the league's live music entertainment strategist, with Jay-Z having the final say on the halftime show performer. TMZ Sports also noted that, despite the speculation, neither Styles nor Bieber has been approached about the show. The source also mentioned that both music stars are unlikely to take the gig once approached.
Interestingly, the NFL does not pay the Super Bowl halftime show performers. Instead, the norm is that artists usually take the gig for exposure and to get an increase in streaming revenue and ticket sales. Earlier this year, Bieber was a part of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final halftime show.
Scheduled to take place in Feb. 2027, Super Bowl LXI is still almost five months away. However, the NFL usually announces the Super Bowl halftime show performers by late September. The last Super Bowl to take place at SoFi Stadium was in 2022; where the halftime show featured Snoop Dogg, Dr.Dre, Eminem, 60 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, and more. The 2026 Super Bowl LX featured Bad Bunny as the star act.

There’s enough time between now and February for Justin’s Agent to run into Target or Ross and buy a pair of suspenders for Justin to wear during his performances.
He still seems to have problems keeping his pants from sliding down and displaying his underwear while he moves about the stage. As though we were still in year 1999. When a wardrobe malfunction happens over and over, it’s no longer a malfunction. Here lately, Justin often seems groggy and detached while in public. High or buzzed from something.
How about a nice Pop Warner football game instead of all that garbage. How would a music concert look if we interrupted it with a football game during intermission?
