It’s not just the violent crime, but their disposition while behind the wheel we have to watch out for.
Anecdotal evidence is still evidence—which is then almost always backed up by the data.
This morning while driving my son to school, I was behind someone who was driving like a total a-hole. He/she was speeding through the school zones (there’s three schools all on the same half-mile stretch of road), and he/she was absolutely riding the person in front. I made an educated guess, and predicted the driver was… black. And it turned out I was right: the driver was a black woman, and there were a couple of kids jumping around in the backseat, none of them buckled up.
Anyway, I figuratively rolled my eyes, and carried on with my day, dropping my son off, and heading home. Moments later, there was another a-hole driver, again speeding and weaving in and out of cars in the school zones. I made the same prediction as I did 10 minutes earlier, and of course, I was right again; that driver was a younger black girl this time. Before I get accused of being anti-black (my favorite juror is black, by the way), my guesses were based on my lived experience since moving to the South, where I’m around a whole lot more blacks than I’ve ever been in my entire life; for “some reason,” essentially all the very aggressive drivers I’ve seen in the last three years are black.
Then I began to wonder: Does the black aggression we see manifest in the crime rate translate to car crashes? Yes, yes it does.
The data shows that per capita, blacks are the second highest race to suffer traffic fatalities, second to the American Indian population, which, ironically, “had the highest proportion

I have noticed the same thing in Florida. Extreme antisocial behavior.
When I lived in Colorado the aggressive drivers were usually hispanics or liberals with stickers all over their car (or Prius drivers).
That’s probably the way they learned to drive. All neighboring drivers (friends & family included) drove the very same self centered, combative way.
Attitude being: “It’s a jungle out there!”
No, it’s the “dangerous” roads, not the idiots behind the wheel.
I took Driver’s Ed when I was 14, from my Junior High.
It was the first rite of passage, moving into my teens.
I liked driving around town, day or night back then. I never really liked the freeway, but when you’re working, freeway travel is a necessary Evil.
They are drivers of privilege. I see their antics around here as well. Beware the Dodge Challenger or Kia with a dent in the side.
It is usually young male orientals here.
Which is why “Driving While Black” is bs. It’s the driving habits that gets them targeted and pulled over by the cops. In the DC area it’s usually the cars with MD plates.
Hatred manifesting itself as taught and condoned through entitlement conditioning.
And the low IQ behavior better’s upfronts impulsiveitivitys
In my neck of the woods it’s usually Nissan Sentras with Magic Trees hanging off the rear view mirrors if you can see them when the windows aren’t illegally over darkened.
What’s this “we” stuff, ma’am?
The worst drivers, on skills and self-entitlement and rudeness and aggressive bases, are in the Boston area…and these jackwagons are as white as the driven snow.
The most insane drivers are in Manhattan, followed by Philadelphia. But they got SKILLZ. They’ll look dirty at you if you can’t drive correctly, and yes you deserve it. They run the gamut from black, to white, to everything in between.
How many points does this lady have on her license?
They must use the trees to try to hide the stench of the weed.
Less than 13% of Americans are black, but blacks make up 33% of prisoners in America.
Ask many black people and they’ll tell you it’s because of racism. Ask any white with common sense and they’ll tell you it’s because the 13% commit crimes at a much higher rate than other races. The behavior you describe on the road carries over to every part of their lives.
“their disposition while behind the wheel we have to watch out for.”
Who are “we”?
Avoid them at all costs. I grew up completely isolated from our melanated friends. I joined the coast guard and within a few weeks ever black washed out. I didn’t see any others until college in Fresno. Back then no one really cared about race much. But it was brewing once the democrats took over and capitalized on stoking racial hatred for whites. I have a few grandfathered black friends but even they have families they hate. Now. I avoid anything that would put me in contact with black folks. I am fine being called a racist but it has served me well.
Um, no.
I have personal experience getting pulled over by a cop while driving on the highway with a black friend riding shotgun. I was doing the speed limit, slowed down when going thru construction, and obeyed every other law.
Nonetheless, he came up behind me and turned on the lights and siren.
When I pulled over, I went about 6-8 feet into the shoulder to avoid passing traffic. Officer Friendly decided to mosey on up to the shotgun window, not my/driver’s window. He let me off with a warning.
I know another white guy who got pulled over for DWH (driving while Hispanic, ie the guy also in the passenger seat). This cop carded my friend AND his Hispanic passenger.
Now…every LEO isn’t a loser, and every black isn’t spotless. But DWB is real.
There are very few black people where we live in Arizona, but there are plenty of a-whole white drivers recklessly driving expensive sports cars and trophy trucks because they can.
So they’re also dying in car collisions at a greater rate while not biking or walking, and I don’t think it’s because they hit a pothole or because they’re on food stamps....
