But the most telling sign is that in Joe’s last week on the job a grand jury in Fort Pierce, Fla., saw its heaviest stream of grand jury witnesses. And lots of big name defense lawyers tell me their famous clients have been peppered with subpoenas over the last 10 days.

Reporters suggesting Joe resigned because he was being asked to prosecute crimes that didn’t exist have it wrong. An active grand jury like what was seen this week signals concern there is evidence of wrongdoing.

I’m a huge fan of John Solomon and his take is usually very good and mostly accurate.... but this one and logic escapes me.

Give the current state of things in the US, it probably makes sense since rigyht is wrong and wrong is right.....Guess i’ll add this to the overstuffed box of “just wait and see”.

An “active Grand Jury” doesn’t mean there’s anything more than an active Grand Jury, which happens nearly every week and any federal courthouse.

DiGenova is a camera hog, who would never bail out of an opportunity to get his mug on TV for actually receiving an indictment of the former FBI, CIA, and Special Counsel who tried to prosecute Trump.

There’s no “there” there - again.

Just posted at Citizen FreePress from X:diGenova just told me by phone when I asked about his abrupt exit:

“If you want indictments where there’s no evidence, you have an ethical problem” Josh Christianson, whoever he is.

This is MTG, Tucker Carlson level betrayal.

I don’t understand either, at this point. Is Solomon implying that somebody at DOJ was concerned that Solomon was actually getting a grand jury to indict so they pressured him to quit?

I wonder how many are left on the DOJ payroll still investigating Nixon.

I’ve just spent 20 minutes trying to get the stupid “verify you’re a human” thing to work and it just keeps freezing. It’s not worth the hassle. X is ruined.

Just out of curiosity, who claimed to talk to DiGenova and hear him say that? It sounds to me like Solomon’s post needs to be understood by knowing who is trying to claim that he’s saying there’s no “there” there. And it sounds like Solomon is saying that the media is claiming that because they know there IS a “there” there, and so do the high-powered attorneys for these people being subpoenaed.

Maybe Joe is resigning for health reasons. He’s 81 after all.

Joe diGenova is a straight shooter. If he left on his own, it had to be for good
reason. His wife Victoria is the same too, totally on the square.

It sounds like Solomon is saying this Josh Christianson who claimed that is lying because there’s been a LOT of action with the grand jury that says there IS evidence and DiGenova knows it.

Solomon refers to disputes over access to evidence. I wonder if DiGenova was being denied access to evidence because John Brennan’s “Legion” knew he is a straight shooter (and know he was right all along about 2020 being stolen). If so, the question, then, is whether the people who are supposedly supposed to move faster than DiGenova are really going to do that, or if this is Todd Blanche making sure no indictments happen.

These posts from Solomon seem cryptic; maybe I just don’t know everything I’m supposed to know because I can’t get stupid X to recognize that I’m a person.

I just watched a clip of John Solomon on RAV, and it made me think that if DiGenova said that he wasn’t saying that “wanting indictments where there’s no evidence” was about there being no evidence against Brennan and the Deep State - but about there being no evidence against Trump and yet Brennan’s “Legion” pushed for just that. And maybe still ARE pushing for just that.

Maybe DiGenova was saying the DOJ had an ethical problem when they weaponized themselves against Trump, and Solomon says the media is trying to make it seem like he’s accusing the DOJ of asking him to do that to Brennan - when in fact there is a lot of evidence against Brennan.

I had used the app to verify I was a human. It wouldn’t work on my PC.

Yes, it is. He could have quietly resigned months ago but waits until election season and publicly torpedoes the whole case. Perhaps this “source” got it wrong—if so, Joe needs to publicly correct the statement. I’ve never trusted thos guy.

Then why not say that and not sabotage the case by saying what he supposedly did?

Maybe, but DiGenova needs to publicly clarify that otherwise he is sabotaging the case.

My guess is that DiGenova’s commitment was to get the anti-weaponization investigation moving, but that in view of his age, he would step out before indictments were issued.

Good question. Maybe he’ll have a statement explaining his resignation. I think he owes everyone that.
