HERE WE GO AGAIN: Germany's AfD ROBBED of Victory as Mail-In Ballots Flip Results in Saxony-Anhalt

After its historic victory in the state of Saxony-Anhalt, the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party has dropped from 44.4 % of the vote to 43.8% after mail-in ballots were counted, with all other parties gaining abnormally from mail-in ballots. I always vote. Haven’t missed an election since I turned 18 back in the 70s. I’m in MA, so my vote never really counts, but I always vote.

But I am nevertheless firmly convinced that voting doesn’t matter. In the US, in Europe, all over the place, The Powers That Be have ways to make sure that only the “right people” manage to win. Trump is the big anomaly.

But the notion we all have to get out there and “vote harder” really bothers me. The thing that would make a real difference here in the US is election reform (like the SAVE Act). And the GOP clearly doesn’t want that. Your representatives don’t really want your vote to count. You can see that clearly in Germany, but it’s no different here in the US.
