FIRST ON FOX: ‘No Kings’ protest network behind fight against AI data centers and Flock cameras (pro-chicom)

FIRST ON FOX: The same hard-left network behind "No Kings" and other protests is leading the battle against data centers and Flock surveillance cameras, according to a Fox News Digital investigation and a new report.

In growing protests from San Francisco to North Carolina, organizations and activists associated with the same ecosystem that rallied against President Donald Trump, Israel, Elon Musk, Tesla and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) over the last two years are now taking on data-center construction and license-plate readers.

The overlap includes organizations funded by pro-China, Shanghai-based tech tycoon Neville Roy Singham, whose sprawling nonprofit and media network has faced Congressional and federal scrutiny over its funding and foreign ties. Singham and the nonprofits he has funded have denied taking orders from any government or political party and haven’t been charged with any crimes.

The findings are detailed in a new report, "The Compute War at Home," commissioned by Consumer Action for a Strong Economy, an Alexandria, Va., free-markets nonprofit that used social-media analysis by Arken Intelligence, a technology firm based in Washington, D.C., for parts of its study.

"The money, media, organizing capacity and campaign objectives converge in the same ecosystem," the report says.

Based on reporting over the past several years from street protests, Fox News Digital has identified the protest movement’s evolution across three phases. The new report chronicles a repeatable political model, in which activists first identify a local grievance, then connect it to a larger ideological narrative and package the argument through national media and activist infrastructure and carry it into new communities.

Who here volunteers to put a datacenter in your quiet neighborhood?

They belong in industrial zones and should generate at least some of their own electricity to offset the extra demand and higher prices.

Does this mean that Flock cameras and data centers are "conservative"?

Is that Conservative Inc.'s latest talking point?

I'm ambivalent on both. But I don't appreciate Fox News using "Chicom" hysteria to fearmonger me into supporting Flock cameras or data centers.

Even a stopped clock, although I don’t think their reasons are ones that are good.

What a joke the *No Kings* movement is.

They are protesting some non-existent scenario they are imagining that might happen, that can’t anyways because 1) We don’t have a king and the Constitution prohibits it. and 2) Trump isn’t going to live forever.

Don’t these people have any real problems in their lives to hyperventilate over? Must be nice to have no more pressing issues to deal with than some figment of their imagination.

The TDS is strong in them.

Socialism started as a valid reaction to the Industrial Revolution. People driven off farms came to the cities and were exploited by factory owners. They had a seemingly endless supply of labor who would work for almost nothing to survive. Marx saw this and put together his cockeyed theories—he didn’t count on the rise of Labor Unions and the fact that factory owners would begin to pay honest wages and even give back to society. Communism wasn’t needed but envy and greed took over and the desire to re-invent society (like they did in the French Revolution) The revolution went quickly out of control and became bloody—it always does.
If the revolution in New York runs its coarse we will see guillotines in Time’s Square.

China wants the USA to lose the AI competition. Flock cameras are risky for China’s/Russia’s/UK’s/Iran’s militant groups wreaking havoc in the U.S. It has nothing to do with the aforementioned entities being against surveillance of course, but the surveillance is in the wrong hands in the U.S. until the communists control the surveillance. There in lies the problems that these anti-American communists have with these two (and other) technologies here.

Communism wasn’t needed but envy and greed took over and the desire to re-invent society

That could as easily describe today's Big Tech oligarchs. And the ones who own Big Media, Big Finance, Big Pharma, etc.

Their greed is endless. They are "citizens of the world" who have contempt for the local populations. They want to remake society into a borderless, AI controlled dsytopia. And through transhumanism, remake themselves into gods.

Their not “data centers,” they’re the infrastructure for a surveillance state.

??? I suppose you were trying to express something with that string of words. As to FOX, it is hilarious that they are conflating the resistance to data centers - which we need - with the resistance to Flock/Axon cameras - which nobody in a Constitutional Republic needs.

The desire to prevent a surveillance/police state is the one area that all Americans who value Liberty, whether we be Conservatives or they be liberals, can agree.

They sure don't. Wait until the democrat's slamo-commie mafia has control of the government again. If you thought the WuFlu stay-at-home orders were bad...

Data centers and AI are the new Star Wars. Forcing China to compete with us will bring them down like forcing the Soviets to compete on military development did in the 80s. Cutting off their cheap energy from Venezuela and Iran is part of it.

Lumping creepy Flock cameras into this discussion is a distraction. Eff Flock cameras.
