Getting Involved Means Republicans Can Win

We can all do something in the lead-up to the November election. What is your something?

Patriots don’t have to open their wallets to contribute to a candidate’s campaign, although money is always welcome. You can contact your local county Republican Party or directly reach out to the candidate and/or organization promoting a proposition. Everyone can do something to save our nation from a growing communist takeover.

Local candidates (school boards, city councils, aldermen, boards of supervisors, commissioners, etc.) often run on shoestring budgets. Anything you can do is appreciated.

For instance, Maureen “Quinn” Flaherty ran for the Long Beach, California, school board in the June primary. A special ed teacher at a charter school, Flaherty was making strong inroads in her school board district during the campaign, which explains why teachers’ union members started showing up to protest at her events. She shared her story with me:

I ran for Long Beach Unified School District Board Member in the June 2, 2026, primary. I have been a community leader in Long Beach, CA, hosting events to teach the public about their constitutional rights since 2020. My goal in running was to do more for my community since these days there are many agendas that are unhealthy for children attending public schools. For more background visit Protect Our Kids website.

Throughout my campaign, I endured much harassment and abuse such as disparaging signs about me throughout Long Beach and in my own neighborhood, attack ads on YouTube, teacher union members and Antifa showing up at my events trying to shut down my voice, and more. Despite all the negatives, I came in second place with 33 percent of the vote, out of three candidates. The incumbent had 55 percent. She won outright in the primary election

The most important thing is to get out of the recliner and go vote.

Is this a joke? I was a county chair, ran for a local council, was heavily involved. What I saw, even at the most local level was massive amounts of mutual back scratching benefitting politicians and their money supply and doing nothing for the common citizen. I, like many others, became disgusted and tired enough after 20 years, to simply say f-it.

Californian here. I’ll stay on the recliner. I sene $100 each to 3-4 senate candidates. That’s all I can do.

There’s not a whole lot anyone can do here but read and chat about this, that and the other stuff. Just vote MAGA up/down and across when the time comes. They won’t have a sticker for that but it would be nice if they did.

My experience of this has been deaf ears. In 25 years with hundreds of emails can count on one hand the number of candidates I've taught about the opportunities Republicans have to take "the environment" as an issue away from the Slave Party and hold them accountable of the damage they've done.

The problem is that they go the consultants. And those companies are heavily populated with Democrats.

Yep.

The Democrats/Communists are in no way approaching a majority in this country, but voter apathy among the rest of the population is how they can seize permanent power.

It is a near certainty that California will not comply with the USPS requirements for mail in ballots. In person voting may give real Californians a fighting chance to swing an election.

My local party headquarters claimed school board was non-partisan so they do not make recommendations. I told them the teachers unions have no problem. I had to go through the candidate positions and find the ones who were not union shills.
