WASHINGTON — Taxpayers are funding $230 million in largely Biden-era grants to study woke “intersectionality” — the assessing of factors such as race and class to rate “privilege’’ and potential discrimination, a new report says.
The Defense of Freedom Institute and Legal Insurrection Foundation, both right-leaning policy groups, said their review found 249 records of federal-assistance spending — propelled during the Biden era — that used the keyword “intersectionality.’’
“Race-obsessed ‘Intersectionality’ doctrine provides the toxic fuel for radical anarchist groups like the Turtle Island Liberation Front, and is the mothers’ milk for destructive anti-American and anti-capitalist agendas that dominate campuses,” said William Jacobson, the founder of Legal Insurrection Foundation, to The Post.
“Amazingly, we have discovered that the federal government has been funding the Intersectionality movement,’’ said Jacobson, a Cornell Law School professor.
“This has to stop.”
Intersectionality is a belief system in which people’s race, gender, sexual orientation, class, and other characteristics are used to assess their privilege and potential discrimination.
Grants flagged by the report indicate the research exploded during former President Joe Biden’s tenure, reaching a peak of $80.1 million in 2023, for a total of $140 million in spending to date and another $90 million earmarked.

I see this and sometimes wish the entire Fed.gov would go “bankrupt.”
Everything to zero - and then start again.
The Fed.gov funding of things like academic marxism, and things like migrant medicaid fraud, may seem small in totality - but I believe they have a 100X negative consequence multiplier than just the debt alone incurred in the total budget deficit.
So those decades when I was passed over for promotions by someone ‘more deserving’ was ‘intersectionality’. OK, now I understand.

Unfortunately, this is the system working as designed. If it was designed for more control then, whenever Democrats got into control, the overall economy would skew more towards crazy. Now, it’s just moderately skewed toward crazy.

These pernicious ideas ooze out of academia, get people useless PhDs, they go into teaching undergrads, they graduate and teach it to high school kids, then it trickles down to elementary and junior high. Not only would President James Madison (4th pres.), Madison generally regarded as the father of the Constitution, probably have vetoed the bill that provided vote-winning funding for elite desperate Democrats since the funds can't be reasonably justified under Congress's constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers, but I wouldn't be surprised if the allegedly very corrupt post-16th and 17th Amendment ratifications Congress cannot show the constitutionally required receipts for how this unconstitutional funding was spent.
