Nathan Cofnas, the U.S. academic who raised plagiarism concerns over the late Cambridge professor Jason Arday, said on Thursday he had been suspended by Belgium’s Ghent University and was under investigation for discrimination.
Arday, once hailed as Cambridge’s youngest Black professor, was found dead, aged 41, in London last Friday, days after resigning from his post. Arday had denied the allegation of plagiarism but acknowledged making mistakes.
“I was just suspended by Ghent University. They will almost certainly fire me,” Cofnas wrote on his X account. In a post a few hours earlier he said he was “under investigation by my university for discriminating against Arday“.
He’s probably going to wind up being “Kirked”. The Cultural Marxists have put a huge target on his back.
Yes, his “crime” was telling the truth about an abject liar who claimed he ran 600 miles in six days, 200 of them with a broken leg; who lifted whole 200 passages from another book; who taught nothing but racial aggrievement; and who was hired for a job for which he had no qualifications whatever. So academia fires the truth teller.
Reminds me of Elena Ceausescu in Communist Romania:
Elena Ceausescu: Greatest Scientist Ever — except she was a fraud

The left must be defeated.
Seems like a variation on California’s “Nick Shirley Law” — if you expose fraud, the government will try to ignore the fraud and stomp on you instead.
Anarcho-tyranny.
No good deed goes unpunished!
No good deed goes unpunished!
Keep in mind that the Rector, or Dean of Ghent University is Petra De Sutter, who is a TRANS-gender, and has been transgender since 2003. De Sutter is a professor of gynecology and former Prime Minister of Belgium.
So, the leader of this University is very much accustomed to wrapping himself in a tight cloak of deception for every working day of every week. A suspension of disbelief and self delusion are now baked in the cake at Ghent U.
The biggest mistake of the 20th century was when Britain declared war on Germany because of the invasion of Belgium. That changed what might have been a short war like the Franco-Prussian War into a four-year war of attrition, killing millions. Without WWI there wouldn't have been a WWII. Belgium wasn't worth it.
I’m shocked they even hired him in the first place.
The treaty that linked Britain and Belgium in World War I was the 1839 Treaty of London, which guaranteed Belgium’s perpetual neutrality. When Germany invaded Belgium on August 4, 1914, Britain used this treaty violation as its legal and moral justification to declare war on Germany.
So the Brits were at fault too. Britain and France just didn’t want a New Kid On The Block.
The Jason Arday ‘memoir’ that now appears to be more fiction than fact

Of course not dont you know the drill, you cannot accuse a black person of lying about anything if you do that makes you the racist
Yeah, shoot the messenger. Turn it around so that it looks like the plagiarist wasn’t the problem, unearthing him was.🙄
Imagine what would have happened if the heir to the Austria-Hungarian throne had been assassinated in Serbia in 1914, and Austria-Hungary announced that it would be marching a military force from Vienna to Sarajevo to punish little Serbia. And every country in Europe nodded its head and said, “We understand”.
Austria-Hungary might have caused $100M in damages and maybe killed 1000 people in a worse case scenario. But no WWI.
But instead all the countries started jumping up with treaty violation after treaty violation, and everyone mobilized, and the whole thing got out of hand.
There once was a man from Ghent....
Academics can’t discriminate against plagiarists now?
And too many German generals thought in 1914, that Russia was quickly modernizing, and it was “Now Or Never”.
Ghent University muckety-mucks must be feeling a lot of heat from the Ivory Tower know-it-alls thrashing about in the bowels of the “education” industry cauldrons. Their unassailable holy fortress of “our judgement is superior to yours” shall NOT be questioned.
