Iryna Zarutska's family is going to file a lawsuit regarding her vicious murder in a Charlotte train car.
We should be able to sue these negligent judges who let violent criminals back out our streets to victimize us again and again.
Decarlos Brown, Jr., the murderer of Iryna Zarutska, had at least 14 prior arrests, including for violent felonies.

The taxpayers are the only ones who will be held accountable, not the judges or prosecutors. The rememdy is to allow them to be held personally liable. There are no personal consequences for them.

I live in CLT, and occasionally take the train. Payment is effectively voluntary. There are no turnstiles, no ticket checks, no ticket clerks, just automated kiosks where you can buy a ticket if you want. Anyone can walk onto the platform and get on the train when it stops there for free. Ride the train, and when it stops where you want to get off, just walk off and onto the street.

I agree 100%. In any other profession if you make an on the job mistake that results in someone's death you are libel both civilly and criminally. Including law enforcement.
For some reason judges and prosecutors are immune from all accountability or responsibly. As such they are free to be activists instead of impartial arbiters.

I am all for it. The fact this murderer has gotten away with it is a travesty. I hhope they take that judge and city to the cleaners

The guilty won’t pay a dime. The taxpayers will. But if they vote in the democrats this year, maybe they deserve it.

That’s ridiculous. Either declare the trains free or install some kind of sneak-proof gates. Why should only the honest people pay?
