The first day of high school can be nerve-racking. At Bishop Kelley High School, there’s a tradition designed to break the ice. Freshmen arriving for the first day of school are greeted by members of the senior class, who cheer them on as they give their moms or dads one last kiss goodbye.
The tradition, known as “Kiss Your Mom Goodbye,” has been part of the Bishop Kelley community for more than two decades.

It looks like hazing freshmen must have been getting a little out of hand. I never saw it happen when I was in highschool, but heard numerous stories of how HS freshmen were treated usually in a humiliating fashion.
That’s so sweet and fun!
I went to a college basketball game in Nebraska and this so reminded me of that! It was such a wholesome, happy environment!
