They’re always the last place you look
My thought exactly. Disgrace to my race!
Does that just happen to be The Bus of No Return or something?
They didn’t take the Streetcar Named Desire.
But it was “a pleasure to take the bus and leaving the driving to”... the trusting police trying to save them.

Freepers rule!

Best seller in the 50s. Rumored to have dirty bits.
Humble thanks.
Were they wanted for any crimes in Israel?
Were the arrested is Argentina?
Were they prohibited by law to leave Israel?
As adults, do the enjoy the right of free travel?
I used to have to take Greyhound every damned week, from Atlanta to Savannah and back again, and a bus to and from Statesboro, which didn’t have Greyhound service. It was hell. And all they would show at the station TV was CNN. Every thing available in the vending machines was ridiculously expensive. I hated doing it, but it had to be done.
Never read it.
In those days the Henry Miller books used to be carried in a false bottom of suitcases to get this into the US. Including Tropic of Cancer that is the 233rd greatest book of all time in The Greatest Books and No.50 In the Modern Library Top 100 Novels of all time.
They were deadbeats, but being a deadbeat isn’t a crime. It should be a crime to involve multiple law enforcement agencies, all over the world, spending millions if not billions, when a simple note saying: “Gone to Argentina. Don’t wait up” would have avoided all that.
But they looked so wonderful in the ads. 🚌
Do you know why there are so few Jews in jail?
Because they eat lo(x)cks!
“I’d rather look good than (be) good.”
If the Israeli taxpayers spent a billion to locate a couple non-fugitives on a Buenos Aires bus, the taxpayer is being ripped off.
As for the two women, being that there were no criminal charges, I hope they told the police to get lost.
I road my second time on Greyhound through Nashville to Atlanta over a year ago. The Nashville terminal had the worst customer service I have experienced in my life. The driver pulling in warned us about it.
I hope there was a process server there, with summons in hand. Give them the Smollet treatment.
At the moment they are at a Buenos Aires cafe, enjoying a bottle of Malbec and laughing.
