Just requiring Big Pharma to sell their wares at what to the world for was the best move that Trump could make. It forced Big Pharma to stop using the American consumer to subsidize the world.
Yup.
My out~of~pocket costs are going through the roof. Not from the drugs themselves but the copays and deductibles. The insurance company is gaming the system.
I know that I pay about half for my Eliquis of what I had been paying.
We’re assuming that Iran and Democrats are trying to assassinate PDJT; it could be Big Pharma.
Can you reduce what insurance covers, like remove from your plan, and just pay out of pocket?
It is a situation that needs to be dealt with.
I favour HSAs to allow people to build up investment accounts tax free to help fund their healthcare.
Every sonofabitch in the healthcare system from pharmacies to therapists to brain surgeons, is gaming the system.
Long ago I had a good friend who was studying to be a doctor. Years go by and another friend, a new one, tells me how his wife got fired from a medical practice for refusing to falsify records that would allow the practice to rob the gubmint. Lo and behold, the practice belonged to my old friend the doctor!
True story I swear!
Simple Drug cost solution???
The FDA shouldn’t approve any drug unless a 90 day supply can be purchased for $100 or less without insurance.
Sweet! He caused a lot of drugs to have generic options during his first term, too!
A dear friend passed away last March, he had Parkinson’s dimensia. For many years he was paying almost a thousand dollars a month for the drug he was prescribed. Then president Trump did his thing with drug prices. His medication bill plummeted to a little more than one hundred dollars during his last year of life.
Tom was always a ‘vote blue no matter who’ democrat. We had some interesting conversations over the years. Then one day last fall as I helped him pay his bills, he could no longer write, he said “we made a mistake, shouldn’t that be a thousand, not a hundred?” I explained how it happened. He smiled and said
“Thank you President Trump!”
This directly affects people’s monthly household budget and needs to be front and center, and repeated often.
Republicans can’t let the Dems get away with convincing the public that everything is more expensive since Trump took office. In the next few weeks, republicans and the White House need to highlight maybe 12 actions & accomplishments that have positively affected the average person’s budget, life and well-being. Accentuate the positive and how people’s lives are going to continue to get better.
Sweet. Too bad he was close to death before he had an awakening.
Perhaps he can still vote.
Just checked Synthroid didn’t drop.
Oh; that’s a thought. So ... still a Democrat voter then.
Your right. Tell the pharmacy you are not using insurance.
I picked a hell of a time to quit doing drugs
Have you been here...

“Synthroid®
64% off
Levothyroxine sodium tablets by AbbVie®”
I sure hope it reduces the 22K per autoinject pen for skyrizi.
