WASHINGTON — Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley beat Democratic socialist Francesca Hong in a come-from-behind victory during the Wisconsin gubernatorial primary Tuesday night.
Crowley, 40, was ahead of the 37-year-old state representative and member of the Democratic Socialists of America 39.8% to 39.4% when the race was called by the Associated Press at 3:34 a.m.
Surveys ahead of the Badger State Democratic contest had consistently showed Hong besting Crowley by double digit percentage points. Crowley had also dropped out of the race weeks before and even endorsed another opponent, before re-entering the contest and receiving the backing of outgoing Gov. Tony Evers.
“Our team campaigned clean, our souls are intact and we really made meaningful change for the progressive movement,” Hong’s campaign Becky Cooper said after the DSA pol conceded.
The margin between the two candidates was less than one percentage point, meaning Hong could’ve requested a recount before her concession.
However, because the margin was wider than 0.25 percentage points, she would’ve had to foot the bill.
Crowley, who is seeking to be Wisconsin’s first black governor, hasn’t addressed his supporters yet but his campaign manager, Garren Randolph, said the pol was “grateful” to voters who took part in the primary.

Crowley got almost no press coverage compared to Hong hogging the airwaves. (At least in our area.)

OR, more likely, the AP was correct, and the Dem establishment STOLE the election with their well-oiled fraud machine. The DSA and their supporters should protest by sitting the November election out.

There are no moderate democrats in the Democrat party, they are all RINO’s now.
Perhaps the poll sucked. Or perhaps the establishment communist Democrats who don’t want communist Democrats who are out in the open, stole the election.
I know all close elections aren’t stolen, but this has the ear marks of one that is.

It’s hard to explain to someone who’s never spent much time in Wisconsin just how much they care about Thanksgiving. It’s true that every state loves the holiday, but Wisconsin takes it to a level that honestly defies reason. It’s political suicide to say you want to cancel Thanksgiving.

Where does one have to live to watch this country “slowly” losing its language, borders, culture, and rule of law?
This seems highly suspicious. We need to examine this closely to see if the corrupt Democrat party machine hasn’t cheated for the Establishment candidate.
She would be likely to get smoked in the general election. Democrats know this. So.............
