Vote Ryan Fazio for Governor (Republican), Connecticut FReepers!!
There are a number of Afrikan colonies listed here.
There will probably be a low turnout in Alabama. Only 3 districts voting. In my district only 1 race to vote in. Most won’t think it worth it, but I hope I’m wrong. I’m going to vote about 9am.
Not voting for Graham’s sister. I will vote for Fry over Norman.
Connecticut is a closed primary. So pretty much the vote today is for status quo Democrats, or even crazier communist Democrats.
My district has no Republican Primary today, but some do.
Fazio in November!
What district are you in? My uncle lives in Windsor on the Farmington River, My cousins lives in Ellington and East Granby...
Larson has run an impressive campaign—kept his health issues well hidden.
The story was well covered when it happened but buried deep since.
It helps when the mass media is in your pocket.

Larson will win renomination and re-election—and then probably croak on the House floor at some point.
Welcome to CT politics.
Congressional District 1 (Larson’s) State House District 81, State Senate District 16
Right on the Hartford/New Haven County line.
The DOJ is monitoring polling sites in Minnesota’s Hennepin and Ramsey counties during the state’s primary election.
The DOJ is deploying roughly 20 staff from the Civil Rights Division’s Voting Section and the Minnesota U.S. Attorney’s Office—to ensure transparency, ballot security, and compliance with federal law.
Dad knew the Grasso family (his principal was Thomas Grasso, and Ella was a fiscal conservative according to dad). Dad said he voted for a few Democrats in Connecticut, Ella, Joe Lieberman over The Wackjob (Lowell P Weicker) and he state representative (a fiscal conservative and anti abortion Democrat.)
Another stupid state that will have runoff if nobody gets 50%
As predicted, very low turnout at my voting place. I usually vote around 9 am and there would be 300-400 votes on the machines. I got delayed voting today. Voted at 1 pm and only 178 votes on the machines. I voted for Gary Palmer.
I have no problem with a runoff. I am hoping Graham doesn’t make the top two. When I voted this afternoon, just 110 had voted in the precinct. This helps Graham who has the most campaign funds. She dominates the media in terms of campaign ads. According to limited polling, Norman leads Graham by one point, 29-28. Undecideds are 25%.
The runoff is scheduled for August 25 if no one gets 50%.
SC polls close in 4 minutes.
Polls closed at 7 p.m. ET for today’s primary elections in South Carolina and Vermont.
“As Sen. Darline Graham looks to secure the GOP nomination in the Senate race to succeed her late brother, Lindsey Graham, there is a key region to look at: the Upstate region of South Carolina.
This was always Lindsey Graham’s worst area in Republican primaries — and it might be relevant for how his sister does tonight in certain places across the state.
In the primary in June, Lindsey Graham won the Republican nomination for his re-election campaign, earning 57% of the vote. That’s not a great number for such a longtime incumbent. Looking closer at that primary, Graham only received 44% of the vote in the Upstate region. Everywhere else, he got 63% of the vote.
So I think that is one of the things we’re looking for when you look at Darline Graham and how she is going to do tonight. Is she going to struggle up there too? Because her main connection in this race is that she is the sister of Lindsey Graham, and he always had trouble up there. So I think from Darline Graham’s standpoint, there’s not really a natural geographic base for her anywhere. Not many folks had much familiarity with her until the last couple of weeks, but she does have the endorsement from Trump on her side.”
They’ve called the SC Senate race for Darlene Graham.
