A Muslim organization has bought a former Catholic seminary on Long Island with plans to establish a boys’ boarding school. Local residents have objected to the proposal as it moves through the planning process
A former Catholic seminary on Long Island has been sold to a Muslim organisation that plans to reopen it as a religious boarding school for Muslim boys.
The United American Muslim Association, based in Clifton, New Jersey, has purchased the three-storey, 70,000-square-foot building and its 14.6-acre grounds at 26 South Saxon Avenue in Bay Shore for $5.2 million. The property, currently zoned for residential use, sits in a waterfront neighbourhood and was once home to the Montfort Missionaries, who founded the complex in 1926 as a seminary and boarding school for young men considering the priesthood.
The boarding school closed in 1972. In more recent decades, the site served as a residence and retreat centre for Catholic priests. The Montfort Missionaries have now disposed of the property after nearly a century of continuous presence there.
An earlier proposal to convert the site into an assisted living facility did not go through. Sunrise Senior Living, based in McLean, Virginia, had been under contract to buy the parcel more than four years ago and planned a 90-unit development on 7.5 acres of the land. Neighbouring residents opposed the move and the project was eventually abandoned.

Wasn’t it just yesterday there was a story on here about a Baptist church property being sold to Muslims to build a school and mosque?
It is being done right in front of us.

This might be one of those selling real estate to the highest bidder schemes.
Residents would prefer a Madrassa to assisted living facilities? Cool. It looks like the Catholics don’t mind making deals with the enemy again. $$ $$ $$ $$
DESICRATION
We’re doing it to ourselves. We’re welcoming in our conquerors. Here in Mohave County, Arizona they keep wanting to build a cemetery in one of our remote rural areas. Once you give them the zoning for that they can build whatever the hell they want. We keep denying it, but they’ll be an idiot who will accept it we need to outlaw these things from certain countries from certain people we need to be mature and wake up.
You know who to blame for this? New Age Christianity and Western culture, not Islam. If the country had a robust Christianity that was gaining followers, seminaries would not be sold to Muslim groups. Churches would not be torn down and turned into housing developments.
Boarding school? Is that what they are calling the training centers these days? They used to use the term Madrasa for their indoctrination and skills training centers.
Converting any sort of Christian building to a Muslim building is just part of the conquest. It’s all about the conquest.
The Catholics don't have a choice.
If you put a property on the open market by law you can not refuse any buyer willing to pay your asking price.
There are also on going expenses of maintaining an unoccupied property. Taxes, utilities, security, landscaping. And the property is not generating any income to defer those expenses.
The Catholics are certainly not the only religious organization selling to the Muslims. Nearly all of the Christian religions are in decline.
The Muslims are in ascendance and flush with cash thanks to benefactors back home.
The Muslims know that they can't defeat us militarily so they are waging an offensive war the for hearts and minds of our youth and the defense we are waging is pitifully weak.

According to my pastor speaking on the subject it went cheap at 5 Million. He said hell at that price we’d have bought it.
