More importantly to this old man, peanut butter is up also. Does anyone remember when they could find an inexpensive steak?

Haven’t seen an inespensive steak lately. Barely afford protein via peanut butter now. Sucking down a lot of rice from 25 pound bulk bags for $20 a bag. And homemade sauces. Luckily our freezer in the garage has a few months of chicken left. We bought it dirt cheap last year. Hopefully it won’t go bad.

As bad as it will get for some folks, just pray you don’t have to eat tomato cake for your birthday like they did in the depression, Yuck......

The bright spot is Venezuela. After that devastating earthquake thier oil industry is going to bring in lots of badly needed income.

There is a fertilizer shortage too. I ordered some baker potatoes and a couple green peppers in my grocery delivery and the baker potatoes I got were 2in x 1.5 inch. The green peppers were smaller than a tennis ball.

I complained and did get a refund. LOL

For who? For Venezuela. The Communists ran off all the experts . Now that they are no longer in power and the World is desperate for oil again the Industry there can rebuild to even bigger and better heights than it has had before .

One of the guys that used to be in a fantasy football league I was in lived in Venezuela years ago, working for Chevron. Life was good for a while.

Then one day all of a sudden everyone had to GTFO (during the change from Chavez to Maduro, I think). He moved back to Houston.

Then recently, they had the big earthquake.

Hopefully, things finally settle down and they can rebuild, so good times return and all of that oil starts flowing again...
