Trump will approve ✅
It’s like Carney agreeing to new pipelines in Canada, endless studies and lawsuits filed by environmental groups will delay the drilling of new oil in the North Sea by years if not decades and it will likely never happen, but he promised it would which will tamp down the criticism of him in the short term.
I think you hit the nail right on the head.
It’s all for show.
British pensioner: I almost froze to death last winter.
Burnham (snickering): Help is on the way!
I’ve noticed some Democrat activists here predicting a possible Labour landslide based on the latest polls, but this new person is likely going to be just as much if not more a disappointment compared to his immediate predecessor (starting with his enviro whacko base).
In Canada, if you study what Carney has been doing about new pipelines in Alberta is signing MOUs aka memorandums of understanding to build a new pipeline, subject to certain restrictions.
One of those restrictions is to “de-carbonize” the oil before it’s shipped out thru a pipeline, a process not used anywhere else in the world, the reason it’s not done is the technology is sketchy at best and even if the process works, it will make the oil more expensive and uncompetitive on the open market, which results in the pipeline never getting built.
All the general public will hear in Canada is Carney talking about all the new pipelines they are going to build in, which will make Canada an energy superpower.
Here is an article about the decarbonization of oil.
Good. The whackos would rather live in caves?
All talk and no action.
Burnam is pulling a “Carney.”
It’s very similar isnt it.
Why would a company invest if something that can be taken away in a flash? Or delayed until they give up.
Pres. Trump is the reason for the statement.
It will be interesting to see if they really follow through.
And considering where the UK has been getting so much of its diesel, jet fuel, and LNG...
Wonder how the Rooskies feel about this...

I see a whole lotta use of the conditional in that story.
Oh, boy...
What a cluster...
Oil, produced deep in the bowels of “Mother Earth” (not dinosaurs), is the lifeblood for any society’s “Quality of Life” - from energy to medicines to everyday products.
Its right out of the socialist elitist play book. Announce development, impose all sorts of environmental regulations, , keeping demand hihand then write waivers to your elitist friends who develope a trickle of the rsource , keeping demand high, and creating a whole new generation of power hungry socialist billionaires. This is fascism.
The open borders and unchecked immigration are meant to destroy all resistance to their under table dealings.
IN Canada Carney ginned up hate TRump and elbows up to hoodwink Canada.
Burnam will gin up the immigration issue and pull the same schtick in Britain.
Farange is their only hope.
Is the announcement on the North Sea a smoke and mirrors distraction from the takeover of Thames Water..
Betcha.
Meanwhile, holy bleep...

It is a genuine honour to represent Great Yarmouth - another resounding win recorded in the most patriotic constituency in Britain.

See the chart at the link.
Looks like the North Sea and Thames announcement are a serving more than one purpose, eh...
Carney will level a carbon tax, which flows through his new carbon bank, then onwards to support The Ukraine/NATO fight to defeat Russia
YES
Their only hope...?
See my reply #15. :-)
Reform doesn’t scare the UK’s Deep State.
But Restore clearly does.
A case in point...

The Times have just published a vile hit piece on Restore Britain today - including the full name of Lydia, who volunteers for Restore Britain in London.
As a victim, she gave evidence to the Rape Gang Inquiry.
She was groomed, tortured, kidnapped and trafficked from the age of 15 while in local authority care in Tower Hamlets.
The Times newspaper has published her full name and picture, putting her at huge risk.
I am furious.
I am writing to the editor, demanding an apology and support.
We have offered to provide alternative accommodation and other support for Lydia.
@LibertyLydia’s response is this.
“Having survived what happens when you are vulnerable in a community that sees you as subhuman, I know exactly where this road leads.
This cannot continue. The trend must be reversed.
We must Restore Britain.”
A brave woman.
The media attacks will continue. Why?
Because we are making immense progress, as demonstrated by the result in Norfolk yesterday.
We will not be intimidated or silenced.
Restore Britain is just getting started.

No, Farage and Reform don't scare the UK's Deep State.
But Restore bloody terrifies it.
