Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. But given this happened in a woke, “progressive” city:

Sad possibly #1: A leftist DA might decide the citizens used too much force. So one or more of them get arrested.

Sad possibly #2: A personal injury lawsuit might decide the citizens used too much force. So one or more of them get sued.

Again, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
But it sure isn’t Eisenhower’s America any more.
