No sane person in the world hates the Iranian people. Our foe is not them but the regime they hate and want to be free of. This, I am quite sure, the overwhelming majority of the Iranian people know this.

I’d like to agree with you, but I’m not sure. There were an awful lot of Iranians who supported the Ayatollahs in 1979. I’ve read that 85% of Iranians want the Ayatollahs to be thrown out, but I don’t know if we can trust the source.
