The radical left's electoral machine has officially graduated from municipal council chambers to the federal stage.
Speaker Mike Johnson and mainstream America recently awoke to a deeply unwelcome reality: multiple federal primary election victories by far-left democratic socialists. Each of these candidates intoned the exact same uniform script: a toxic blend of anti-corporate animus, calls to abolish ICE, and ubiquitous rhetoric about "affordability."
Speaker Johnson chose to frame these wins in New York and Colorado as a warning of an impending socialist/communist takeover of the Democratic Party. He cautioned that the consequences stretch far beyond the internal politics of the left, threatening the very future of the American republic. Johnson is correct.
But he is only partially correct.
The Hidden Electoral Engine
A far more ominous trend remains obscured by standard polling metrics. Corporate pollsters consistently obsess over secular demographics -- focusing heavily on age cohorts like Gen Z or income brackets, much like the Harris polls did during Zohran Mamdani’s rise. This narrow focus misses the true engine driving these victories: religious and cultural bloc-voting.
During Mamdani’s mayoral campaign, volunteers quietly targeted several of the 350 mosques across New York City. Investigative author Peter Schweizer notes in The Invisible Coup that Mamdani personally campaigned at 25 mosques, even appearing in photos alongside an imam linked to the infamous Holy Land Foundation Hamas-financing trial. Once established in office, Mamdani has made no effort to hide his religious and political allegiances, which extend far beyond the borders of New York, or indeed, America itself.
Only after the ballots were counted did the reality become clear: a mobilized Islamic voting bloc had grown to an estimated one million strong in the city.

The muslims and the Democratic Socialists should be natural enemies. They think they can fight it out after the country is rubble.
Progressive/socialist/communism. No difference.
They just waited for a moment of weakness.
bump
They ONLY want to CONTROL US!!!
Basically, Mumdummy weaponized islamic bigotry. (islam is intentionally not capitalized)
Liberalism is this wonderful feeling that you’re creating positive social and political change. Think hippies ending the Vietnam war. But that’s all it is, a feeling. Once you’ve acquired the thing you say you sought the feeling goes away. So, you must always keep fighting, not to achieve positive change, but to keep that feeling of accomplishment flowing. You can’t ever stop. Drug addicts call it “chasing the high.”
One reason normies gave up on and agreed to gay marriage was they were just tired of fighting the battle. But the battle immediately became about baking the cake. If they’d won that one the next battle would be gay men dressed as women reading to kids in libraries. Or something equally absurd.
They’ve always been the same thing.
The Socialists became the playbook and the Democrats had to swallow it because of TDS. Democrats like Warner and Kaine are playing Step-n-Fetchit for the loonies.
One of my operative definitions of a Leftist is “someone who can’t say ‘no’”. This is because they don’t believe in Absolute Truth, there is no God, so anything goes.
Accordingly, whatever destructive belief comes down the pike, they believe it’s OK. “Who am I to judge?” Communism? Fine. Radical Islam? Fine. Transgenderism? Fine. Take from the successful? Fine. Drugs? Fine.
Just don’t have an institution to put limits on their “freedom”. Police? Defund. Churches? Burn them. Military? Defund. Parents? Don’t need them. “Just let us do what is right in our own eyes!”
Good analysis. May I add: abortion isn’t death, it’s a “choice”.
They removed their masks.
What’s this “hijacked”? Democratic Socialists are not some alien species that came out of nowhere to invade the peaceful, law-abiding, capitalist Democratic Party. The DSA is simply the next baby-step in an evolution the Democrats have been making for years. They have becoming more Communist, more authoritarian and more violent for a while now. Democratic Socialism is simply the mask coming off.
The article claims that the most important issue dividing "Progressives" versus "Democratic Socialists" is Israel. That's really not the case.
In fact, there is zero difference in actual policy and ideology between "Progressives" and Democratic Socialists, the difference is one of emphasis. Both support radical social and economic policies, but Progressives focus their campaigns on the former - i.e. racial identity politics, hatred of white people and western culture, DEI, and other "woke" talking points. In contrast, Democratic Socialists focus their rhetoric on confiscatory taxation and expansion of the welfare state. It's isn't that one group disagrees with the other's platform, it's more about changing emphasis for target audience.
The Marxists and the Progressives in this country long ago merged their narratives and tactics.
To be fair, they want to kill us at some point.
.
Horsepucky. Progressives have, like all Socialists, been commie trash. No difference.
The Communist Party USA stopped running candidates for president in 1984, choosing to instead support Democrat candidates.
