WASHINGTON – President Trump will take his new Air Force One for its first flight on Wednesday when he heads to North Dakota to open the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library.

The trip is part of the nation’s 250th birthday celebrations. The president will also take a train ride, boarding the BNSF Freedom 250 Train as part of the journey to the library site.

A ceremonial Rough Riders Troop will accompany the presidential motorcade to the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library. The group on horseback will evoke the legacy of Theodore Roosevelt and the volunteer cavalry regiment that helped define his public image, a White House official told The Post.

According to the internet, the brighter blue was selected by JFK because he preferred it and because it was a Democrat Party color, but also, during the Cold War, he wanted the colors to be less militaristic.

I’m particularly pleased that it no longer has anything to do with either that pervert or with the Democrat Party. The more I learn about Kennedy, the more I wish his name could be removed from more buildings. Kennedy used a lot of places as his own Epstein island. At least we got the name Cape Canaveral back.

The more I learn about Kennedy, the more I ...

JFK EO 1111, orders Treasury to issue Silver-backed dollars, in a direct attack on the private central bank the FED's fiat dollars. LBJ retreacted EO 11110 and pulled the Treasury currency.

JFK had an internal war against the CIA for their desire to intervene in Cuba and their interventionist ways all over.

JFK was the Starter. Trump is the Finisher.

Grok:

The Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library is a brand-new facility opening on July 4, 2026 (America's 250th birthday), in Medora, North Dakota—not a long-delayed existing one.

Why “Only Now”?
It's newly constructed: Roosevelt died in 1919 (over 107 years ago), and unlike most modern presidents, he didn't have a dedicated presidential library built shortly after his death. This project brings together archives, exhibits, and his legacy in one purpose-built site in the North Dakota Badlands—where young TR ranched and was deeply influenced by the landscape.

Recent development: Planning and fundraising ramped up in recent years. It's a ~96,000-square-foot facility with a big price tag (around $450–500+ million raised so far). Construction moved quickly (roughly 3 years in some accounts) and stayed on track for the 2026 opening.

Symbolic timing: Organizers deliberately chose July 4, 2026, to align with the U.S. Semiquincentennial (250th anniversary). This ties into themes of American leadership, conservation, and adventure that Roosevelt embodied.

Key Details
Location: Medora, ND (tiny town of ~100 residents), right near Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The design integrates with the prairie/Badlands environment (e.g., rammed-earth walls, grass-covered roof).
What's inside: Immersive exhibits on TR’s life, conservation efforts, leadership, and citizenship. It aims to be a world-class attraction drawing tourists, scholars, and visitors year-round.a7d23e
Grand opening: July 4, 2026, features a ceremony. Tickets are required due to high demand (July 4 is sold out; July 5+ available). Medora lodging has been booking up fast.

There have been some local controversies (e.g., impacts on the small town, debates over Roosevelt's legacy on race/expansion), but the project itself is moving forward as planned with strong support and funding from figures like North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum and major donors.

In short, it's opening “now” because that's when construction finished and the ambitious timeline—tied to a major national anniversary—called for. You can check trlibrary.com for tickets and details.

@JayWeber3 @gregoryjon @yount1130 The Teddy Roosevelt Presidential Library opens today. I’d definitely drive 850 miles to visit this gorgeous building than drive 75 miles to see the other POS presidential library that just opened. BTW, TR’s library cost half of BHO’s library. It was designed by Ramyond Loewy, a prominent industrial designer of the late 50’s and early 60’s. If you’ve ever seen the Studebakers of the 1950’s, that was his design firm and his star pupil, Virgil Exner.
