The Socialists aren't just taking over New York. This happened in Colorado.
A 29-year-old Democratic Socialist ousted a longtime Democrat incumbent in Colorado's 1st District in Tuesday night's House primary.
Far-left candidate Melat Kiros defeated 15-time incumbent Democrat Rep. Diana DeGette on Tuesday night.
Kiros, who was born in Ethiopia, was backed by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).

All those foreigners that the RAT party conspired to bring here to keep their party in power, may eventually end up becoming the demise of that party.
DemonicRAT Socialists are going nationwide. Time they changed their name to Nationalist Socialists.
Melat was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, just weeks before her father was selected by the United States’ Diversity Visa Lottery. Seeking out community and support from other Ethiopian immigrants, her family moved to Denver, Colorado. Melat grew up watching her parents struggle to navigate an unfamiliar country while working multiple jobs to pay the bills and put her father through pharmacy school, but she also witnessed the power of community as family and friends would lend her parents a hand with babysitting, grocery shopping, and job searching, and soon her parents would be able to do the same for others.
Guided by this commitment to serving others, Melat went on to study Political Science and Economics at Washington College in Chestertown, MD before earning her law degree from the University of Notre Dame in 2022. While working as an attorney in New York City, Melat witnessed the bravery of the student protesting for Palestine despite the risk of punishment and losing their job offers for. She decided to write an article defending the students and their critique of Israel. After being asked to take down the article, Melat refused, and she was fired. She may have lost her job but she was reminded that even in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds, change only happens when we show up for it.

This call may be premature.
The count doesn’t include Jefferson County yet.
Or the demise of the country.
Whichever comes first.
The young women vote again. They are voting for their destruction. Stupid is worse than evil per Bonhoeffer.
This is the scum John Thune wants to turn over the country to.
These Mandami Commies may sell in blue chitholes but it won’t sell in a lot of the rest of America.
How does one decide to become a commie with all the benefits and kindness she and her family were recipients of after coming here? She got fired from her job because she refused to be silenced. Commies and fascists silence people. She's politically ignorant for all the education she has supposedly received.

Frequently Asked Questions
How are votes reported?
Data reporters across the country are talking to local election officials and reporting back raw vote results on a county-by-county basis from the time polls open to close and long after that. The data is supplemented with state and county vote computer feeds, when available.
How does NBC ensure accuracy?
Analysts inspect results and look for irregularities or inconsistencies with past voting behavior. If data seems irregular, a rigorous quality control process is triggered to determine whether results are correct.
How does NBC project races?
Projecting a winner means that the Decision Desk has determined that the trailing candidates cannot catch the leader and that the leading candidate will win the race. This determination is made through a comprehensive analysis, and the Decision Desk only projects a race when it is certain of the outcome. Competitive races are called based on analyses of precinct- and county-level vote returns. The analyses also examine differences between early and Election Day votes. A careful analysis of how much of the vote has not yet been counted is often a crucial part of the process.
NBC News will not project a winner until after the last scheduled statewide poll-closing time in that race.
