Thank you very much and God bless you.

Now why would he be doing that I wonder... 😂

They do this often and continuously to block executive/recess appointments. It's good to see it being exposed.

Blocking the appointments is perhaps even more unforgivable.

The 17th Amendment is the WORST legislation ever produced by our country, before passage Senators were elected by state representatives who were responsible for their own state districts. Today it is mob rule by one of two political parties, the dems and RINOs. This not what the Founders had in mind when The Great Compromise was written into the Constitution and look what it has evolved into these days.

The Senate today days is controlled by one of the two political mobs and represents themselves/uniparty more than state legislators who would have spoken for the state’s residents. This how those POS McConnell/Thune running the fake Republicans the last decades has happened.

MAGA has to evolve into its own party and the GOPe must die if there is to be any future for this country.

The 17A a direct assault on republicanism.

The Constitution acts on the people and the states; to deny a component member of the greater republic a seat at the legislative table is tyranny.

Only the occasional scotus decision stands between the states and their complete subservience to a national government.

It led to a politicized scotus, which at times attempts to serve the 10th Amendment political duties of the states. At other times it imposes elite social justice diktats like abortion and homosexual marriage on a defenseless society.

The 17th Amendment was ratified in 1913.

You know what else we got in 1913?

The federal income tax, with ratification the 16th Amendment. And creation of the Federal Reserve.

The timing of all 3 was not a coinkydink.

As predicted in Nov 2024, after the election, the GOP will partner with the communist party to impede all policy efforts that Trump makes...

This is a repeat of Trump’s first (2017-2020) term...

Why all passed in 1913 is a good study.

Ralph Rossum wrote “Federalism, the Supreme Court and the 17th Amendment” a few years ago. I deduced from my reading that the press was pushing for all those amendments, and Woodrow Wilson surfed the political waves.

Senators were criticized as elitists controlled by big steel and railroads. Maybe yes, maybe no - it depends on what your meaning of ‘control’ is - but they stopped the desire for the masses to vote for benefits from the treasury, and the corruption of judicial appointments.

I wrote that the State-appointed Senators were the guardians of the Tenth Amendment. Now, the States have no official check on government control.

The 17th needs to be repealed.

Then the 19th and the 16th.
